[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cut my grass yesterday, but I didn't cut my repaired patch ... yet! I am giving all of those thriving deep green blades a chance to get 6 inches high. This area gets thirsty in the droughts because it is below oaks and those thick mats of roots lie a couple of inches below the surface. In preparation, I used an aerator to loosen the soil and get some water down deep. I spread the EZ Seed as directed, watered thoroughly, and have been helped out by some regular good rain. It looks so good, I was tempted to mow, but as directed, I am letting those thickets develop. When this stand is a little mature, I plan to repeat the process in some other spots. This way I can focus my attention on 1 area at a time.

However, the area it did cover grew it quite well. I purchased it again for the areas where my dogs kill the grass with urine, this product is perfect for small areas like that, will use again.

I looked online and read reviews about Scotts EZ Sun and Shade and decided to give it a try. Not only was it easy to use, the results were fantastic. I can't even tell where my yard was destroyed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our ohio treelawn took a real beating this past Winter. We’re located on a main drag, and we see our fair share of salt from the City trucks. It pelted the heck out of the lawn, and it was dead as a duck come Spring time. It was a matted down, brown/gray lumpy mass of grossness. A shadow of its former self!! It was D-E-A-D. So out comes the hard rake, a heavy trash bag, and the e-z-seed. Lo and behold, we’re sprouting!! There’s hope for the tree lawn, it’s back, baby!!

I had to have the drain pipe from house to septic tank replaced. I went to Target and bought your Scott's EZ seed in a 3.75 lb plastic bottle. By the way it is available in Florida. Within 2 weeks after planting and watering every couple of days, I had filled in the whole area with a rich thick healthy new lawn. I would reccomend this product to anyone who is repairing an existing lawn.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is a combination of grass seed and a medium to hold water. It will turn light brown when dry and dark brown when wet, this is how you maintain a wet seed so that sprouting will occur. After about 10 days a nice layer of fresh s grass seedlings appeared. This product is good for small areas as it is somewhat expensive. Approximately twice the price of bare seed.

I had a section in my lawn that I needed to reseed due to having to bury a drainage pipe. Instead of using the grass seed I have always purchased from the local hardware store, I decided to give this product a try. At first I was shocked at the price, but given that it had the Scott's name, I thought I may be worth it. I took the product home, prepared the ground and covered the ground with the product, as instructed. I will have to admit, when I started watering the product, I was impressed, but that is where it ended. I continued to water the patch day after day and after the first week, still had no grass coming up. I continued to water and nothing. it has not been nearly 2 months and I cannot even tell that I put grass seed down. This was a complete waste of money.

I recommened EZ SEED to people at work along with other Scotts products and one person comes to work with green shoes his lawn is so lush after cutting it. I give lots of lawn tips to people at work and it all starts with varos Scotts products.
