It’s been two weeks and still not even a sprout. We had light rain all week with no puddling and I can still see the seed so it wasn’t washed away. I wouldn’t bother writing a review, but it’s a frustratingly simple concept and yet it’s failed on multiple occasions.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product packaging is very well designed. The dispenser head is especially good at an even flow of material. I first used the product on an established lawn bare spot. It took a week to see any growth but part of the problem was i was unavailable to keep it moist throughout the day. Then the tree stump remover guy came and took out two stumps. I had ideal top soil conditions and very well timed rain storms that were soft rains, not downpours. This was the cats meow! Strong growth is up and continuing, there is no over seeding or bare spots. So, with the right amount of water and care, this product is great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got my grass seed - raked the ground in worn & shady areas where I had trouble growing grass - put the seed down - covered it with dirt - watered it = nice green grass -- very happy it is growing where it wouldn't before

I removed a flower bed and replaced with EZ seed last Fall I got decent growth after 2 weeks but never survived Winter. Also seeded on West side of house and never got growth, and re-seeded this Spring and after 2 weeks still nothing watered everyday. Have had better luck with plain seed and starter fertilizer, which I may end up doing.

Had natural rainfall to keep seed wet and temp will top off today around mid 70 ! Planted two ways and both doing great ! Scratched lose the soil ,planted,then covered ever so lightly with seasoned three year old mulch. #2 Didn’t do any prep AT ALL ,planted seed on bare earth, added some mulch ( good stuff ) and Voila ,Green grass. Still have some samples of both and will go at it again when the days get longer . Regards, Kelly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product was very easy to apply. Germination was very good. Guessing > 90%. Used in both full sun and a shady area under a tree and both came out very nice. Again just writing words to fill out the mandatory word count. Very annoying.

Just like any of the Scotts products, following the directions is the key to success. I've used this for several years and never had a problem. This seed acts fast & fills in fast & that should make you Happy.

I have very little sun in my backyard due to a very large walnut tree. There is a spot in my backyard without any grass at all. Neighbors told me there was no way I would ever get grass to grow. I saw the EZ seed and figured it would work. Within about 2-3 weeks I started to see grass start to sprout. It took a little longer than the bag says, but I also didn't follow the watering the way I was advised. Other than that the product worked amazing and I am very happy with the results. Can't wait til next summer :)

Cold weather and all. Started to notice grass within 7 days or so. This is a great product in the spring , summer and fall!! I would definitely buy this again!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's been a cold wet spring and I've had to relay a lot of yard work, but now that it's warmed up and dried out I could finally begin yardwork. After prepping the area and seeding it in, it began showing sprouts pretty fast. Easy to.use product.
