[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product was so easy and it worked great. Our dog had made a few bare spots in the backyard over the winter. I used a hard rake to loosen the soil and clean out dead grass. I sprinkled on EzSeed and it came out brown. Once it got wet it expanded and darkened up as it absorbed the water 7-10 days later grass was popping up. Great product Thanks!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was sent a container of Scotts® EZ Seed® Patch & Repair Tall Fescue Lawns to test. As always, the directions were clear. I followed the guidelines on the Scott's lawn site to prepare my areas that needed re-seeing and the directions on the container. As usual, I was not let down. After properly preparing the area, using the seed and watering as instructed, within a short time I had new grass growing. The small patches where I had issues are now resolved and will soon look as lush as the rest of the lawn. Great to know these areas will be protected during the winter months and match the rest of the lawn next spring.

I have been using this product since it was introduced a few years ago. I have used it in both small and large areas. The product works great if it is kept moist. I do find that it must be applied much thicker that recommended by the manufacturer. When I followed Scotts application instructions it grew well but was quite sparse..I have learned to double or triple the application suggestion and it works great...

I must of purchased at least 10 of these to use to fill in bare patches and followed directions to the letter. Grass grew and looked quite nice.The problem was, after the winter, there was no more grass and the bare patches are right back again. It seems like it's just a temporary grass and does not last. My neighbor had the same issues. Very disappointed and costly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this product in the past and was very pleased. I like the fact that it is just one step. I usually cover new seeds with a thin layer of topsoil or compost, but everything is included in EZ Patch - you just have to shake on and water.

From the ease of handling the container (no "dumping" clumps) to the quick growing of the seed, my bare spots have now come in and you can't tell the new from the old landscaping. Would buy again and am recommending to all my friends.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoy spot treating areas in my yard that need some extra assistance from die back during the winter or the removal of weeds. It fills in the bare patches and germinates quickly and spreads well. I wouldn't recommend doing a large area just due to priciness, but given that it is not meant for this, it is perfect for spot treatments.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After doing some house remodeling, we ended up with a few bare patches on the back lawn where saw horses were placed. We tried the EZ Patch and Repair and with a little extra water, the bare spots filled in within 2 weeks. Amazing results!

like every "easy" grass seed product I have tried this product is a waste of money. First, it NOT as easy as the ads claim. They so all you have to do is spread and water. Presto instant grass, not so. When you read the directions they inform that you have to "loosen" the top 2 inches of soil. That means you have to dig up 2 inches of soil, possibly killing what grass that might be there, and making your lawn more suspatable to soil run off when it rains. Then the grass that grows last for about 2 weeks then dies.
