I must of purchased at least 10 of these to use to fill in bare patches and followed directions to the letter. Grass grew and looked quite nice.The problem was, after the winter, there was no more grass and the bare patches are right back again. It seems like it's just a temporary grass and does not last. My neighbor had the same issues. Very disappointed and costly.

A few weeks ago I changed some bedding areas in my landscape and as a result had to re-seed some areas. The ez-seed came in quickly and is already filling in the bare spots. Just use as directed and keep moist for great results.

Many times my attempts failed or were not successful. Since I have started using Scotts eZ Seed, I have had 100% success rate. It's easy to use and when added with Scott Lawn Soil, it generates beautiful, luscious, thick grass. It's the perfect mixture of grass types. Best product ever!

I removed a flower bed and replaced with EZ seed last Fall I got decent growth after 2 weeks but never survived Winter. Also seeded on West side of house and never got growth, and re-seeded this Spring and after 2 weeks still nothing watered everyday. Have had better luck with plain seed and starter fertilizer, which I may end up doing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son had a fence installed around his house and had clumps of dirt at the base of the 18 metal posts that were put in for the fence. We raked down the clumps of clay and spread some topsoil on top of the clay. I then poured the EZ seed on top of the soil and used a rake to rake over the seed and topsoil to mix them together. We watered the areas for 8 days before we started to see new grass grow in the area we had seeded. Now 4 weeks later it is hard to see where we had reseeded because the new grass had blended in with the old grass and is all looks so uniform.
