The washer is fast, efficient, and all our clothes are cleaned each time no matter how dirty or spotted some items may be.

I wanted to wait, especially since most of the reviews were from people who did not have the washer long. I love samsung! My entire home is Samsung and I love the way that Samsung manages to stay in the now and also keep the basics great. This tip load is exactly what I wanted and it washes my clothes perfectly no matter the setting. We recently moved and during the selling of our home our washer and dryers were asked to be sold with the home. People fell in love with them. I'm glad I purchased this.
Efficiency
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this huge top load washer! Gets clothes clean by the huge tub. I also like the means to see thru top as clothes slosh around. It is one of the best washing machines I have owned. Great for large families or those that wash infrequently or have king size bedding!
DO NOT BUY!
I purchased this 5.1 cu.ft. Smart Top Load Washer in July of 2023. I have purchased Samsung TV's, PC (back when they were building them) but this washing machine is far, far less in quality than I expected from a superb brand like Samsung. To top it off, recently it is emitting sounds like a someone releasing wind, or a small cat mieowing, making this weird ,squeaking sound when turning, every-single-time I wash. It's driving me crazy. I have never heard of a washing machine doing this. Save yourself agony, annoyance and money - and avoid this machine.

Great Washer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed a new washer and while shopping we came across this unit. It had all the functions that we were looking for. The price was reasonable and made this purchase even easier. We enjoy the various cycles and how nice it looks and sounds while washing. The end of cycle melody is a nice touch. We don't have any negatives about this purchase.
Broken System
same old Problem: New purchase. July2023. Washer turns on makes loud grinding sound .spins counterclockwise. fills with water. sudden stop. empties . make loud grinding sound turns self off. this is happening for 5 tries today. Does not wash Does not rinse Spins sometimes. So I just turn it on 2 maybe 3 time a week hoping it will wash and at least go through a full cycle. I guess once in 2 weeks is good . 2 tech visits, 2 remote analysis. Daily Weekly customer service calls.

Perfect MESS
product worked for about 6 weeks . now it no longer goes through a complete wash cycle or even start wash cycle. does not spin door does not lock. makes a lot of noise but no action. I give this less than a 1 rating. In less than 2 months I am having a repair person to fix my new completely useless washer. but I would still give Samsung a second chance on this product. looking for replacement not repair of the worthless piece of junk I have purchased.

DON'T BUY!
Constant Mildew/mold smell in my clothes! The self clean cycle does not work. I can use it 2-3 times in a row and clothes are still smelly! Also, just doesn't clean clothes well. Soiled areas such as mud and deodorant stains don't usually come out the first cycle. Occasional bleach spots appear on clothes without having used bleach in that cycle. The machine holds water below the drum and never drains fully. There has to be years of sludge build up and there is no way to get it out! I Hate this machine! Do not buy it.

So far so good

The door seems loud and heavy, it makes a strange sound when you open and close it, the way old heavy car doors sound. This is only an issue because our washer before this one was replaced on account of issues with the door falling off its hinges. I wonder how long this one will last
Better than Maytag

That thing would never get the clothes all the way clean and you had to do at least two rinses to get the soap out of the clothes. When the dryer died in August, we decided to buy a whole new set and sell the Maytag. So glad we chose Samsung - working great and my wife is finally happy (at least about the laundry room)!
