I was so excited to receive this and felt it would give him a nice reminder of where he is from. He loved it! He uses it all the time and says that it helps him feel closer to his home. The plate really does resemble the exact shape of Virginia - it is so cool to look at! It is definitely made with high quality and it is simple to clean just like any other dish. The size is pretty big, bigger than I expected which is good. This would totally make a great gift for anyone. It could even be used as a display piece in my opinion.
