Plate is nice but I would have really liked to receive the one from Texas but was all out! Maybe next time. The ceramic is great quality the dish is sturdy but lightweight. The WI plate holds about the same amount as a quiche dish, which is perfect to bake a dip in or use as a small charcuterie board. I can’t wait to use it for football game days this fall!

I’m gonna admit I’m not the best in the kitchen, I sometimes burn water or forget to turn on the stove while cooking, but this has made me want to try baking to display it here. There are so many different ways to use it. It’s microwave and oven safe. I have baked in it and it done fine. It was easy to clean because of the nonstick surface. I’ve used it with fruits and vegetables. Right this very minute it’s being used as a candy dish. I think it’s well made. It’s heavy but not too heavy. It really looks like West Virginia. The plate was packaged well. The only thing that would make it better would be to have it in the state colors.
