Next you fold down both clasp. Lid pops out of container a bit easier than it pops in. With the plastic clips I do wonder how will they will last. And clips on lid prevent them from stacking as tight as some other rubber maid plastic containers

However, I was proven wrong. These storage containers honestly are great! The sizes are perfect and actually useful. I hate when a set is mostly small containers that really can't be used for anything other than a dipping sauce. The biggest container held my family of four's entire dinner with room to spare. The 4.7 cup size held 2 pounds of strawberries easily. Another cool feature is the fact that the bowls have little holes under the locking mechanisms that act like vents. When unlocked, your food is able to vent. It works well to allow food to cool down with the lid still shut. The containers are also microwave safe, so the vents are useful for reheating food, too. I definitely will be able to actually put these to use!
