[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Rubbermaid Brilliance Food Storage Containers 14-Piece Set! They're airtight, leak-proof, stain-resistant, and odor-resistant. The clear design and dual-latch locking system are great, and the Smart Lid System makes storage easy. Plus, they're BPA-free, microwave-safe, freezer-safe, and dishwasher-safe. Highly recommend!

I bought one set for myself, and another set as a gift. I regret both!  In my experience, they are definitely leak proof, airtight, and stack wonderfully (as opposed to round containers).  They are certainly easy to carry, as opposed to a full slow cooker. The latching lids with small air vents are a great idea.  Perfect for microwaving.  The sizes and liquid capacities are perfect for my use, whether it be needed for leftovers after making too much chili or casseroles, and left over vegetables.  The smallest size is ideal for me when I make a fancy bearnaise or tomato based sauce, and I have just enough left over for just me the next day.   I can even deal with a little bit of staining from tomato based products.  What I can't deal with, however, is the fact that Rubbermaid touts these containers as "dishwasher safe."  They are anything but!!!  I found that out from not only using them myself, but from the comments made by people who received them as gifts.  I now have nothing but lids left because all the containers cracked, and in a big way, after washing them in a dishwasher.  Not the lids, of course, since I am smart enough to know that you cannot put anything with a rubber gasket through a dishwasher cycle and still have it perform the way it was intended!  So, whether we're talking about containers or lids you are doing your customers a disservice by your assurances to those customers that the product is dishwasher safe.  When those containers crack, that makes your representations to customers as to being air tight and leak proof just lies!  So, in a nutshell, your products are useless and don't do anybody any good.  While I loved the concept, I will never again buy any of these, nor will I recommend them, until you "come clean," so to speak.

These are so great. Keeps food fresh.i can put onions in them and the wont smell my refrigerator up, put them in a cooler and doesnt allow melted ice water in. Durable
