Great generator -Easy start quiet system!

Bought this for emergency backup use at my house. Amazingly easy to setup and use. Unpacked, added oil, and hooked up to my 30 lb. propand tank. So easy, just pushed the start button and instant power. It is much smoother and quieter running than the Generac brand it is replacing. I would definitely recommend if you want a very easy to operate unit.

Does the job and more !

Received in a timely manner. No damage upon inspection. Easy to follow instructions. Hooked it up to a transfer switch, and away we go ! This generator powers all of the items that we need when the juice goes down in the foothills, including our well pump. After the first tank of propane, I hooked it up to the house propane system. No more trips to the hardware store ! We have run this generator from 5am to 11 pm daily for the last 4 days without any problems.

Easy setup . Easy to use .Solid construction .

Currently use extension cords but strongly considering kit to connect directly to the house . First generator I felt would be worthwhile to go that route . The ease of starting is a huge plus . My wife could use with no issues . Need to be aware of the weight . Maneuvering is a bit of a challenge but doable .

Easy setup and test run

Bought as an emergency generator to use with mechanically interlocked breaker. Received in excellent condition. Setup was easy and the documentation was good. The build quality appears very good and changing the oil after a break-in run of an hour was very easy. Push button start and fob worked as expected. Planning to run it only on propane and my break-in and test runs went as expected with no issues. Hoping not to need it often but so far I am impressed with the product.

Easy set-up and start, smooth and even power

The generator controls are laid out clearly and easy to understand and use. The set-up was simple and easy to do. I use the generator primarily for back-up power during power outages, which happen several times a year, and can last for several days after a bad storm. On gasoline the generator started on the first pop after pushing the start button on the convenient wireless remote starter. After getting helpful information from a Westinghouse customer service technician, I connected it to my 500 gallon household propane tank. The generator started on the second pop after pushing the start button. The generator produces strong, steady, even power with no noticeable fluctuation. It runs smoothly and is quieter than the Generac generator it is replacing. Overall, I am very satisfied, and looking forward to years of reliable service.

Great features and duel gas capabilities.

I bought this Generator because of the multiple receptacles and duel fuel usage. As of this time I have not had a chance to use my new Westinghouse generator. But I'm sure it will perform as expected. I really like the remote start and stop feature.

WGen 7500

Just picked up the WGen 7500 and out of the box quality is very good. Assembly was very easy. The electric start is a very nice touch. Generator turned over twice then fired up. This item will be used in case if power outages. We just survived hurricane Michael and was without power for a while. I purchased this generator so we don't get caught in the same situation again. I haven't put a full load in the unit yet, but hopefully I never have to. This unit will be like insurance, have it but never hope to need it.

Great features

I bought this generator because we are entering hurricane season. I love the remote/electro start because I never can seem to start anything with a recoil start. And dual fuel was a must for me for the options in case I run out of one or the other. Great product.

Simple Set Up

I bought this last week and just set up. I have yet to use it for a prolonged period, but getting it set up and running has been quick and easy. The generator came attached to a pallet and is heavy. So a little help from a friend attaching the wheels and supports is helpful, but not necessary. Directions were easy to follow and really only required a small wrench and standard screwdriver. If you can work these tools, you have all the skill required. One criticism: it appears the company changed the design of the wire connections to the battery. You no longer need to attach the wire ends to the battery yourself... they are already connected. A nice feature. However, the instructions do not mention that the wires need to be joined using a small connector. The is a very simple process, but one not mentioned in the instructions and one that is not obvious. I had several minutes of “why isn't this working” that were unnecessary. Otherwise, a breeze to set up and worked on first push of the start button.

Easy to start and enough power for all your needs

I purchased the WGEN7500DF to replace my 3750 watt pull start generator when it died. The 7500 is a breeze to start with the push of a button, and has more than enough power for my sump pump, well pump, water heater, furnace, refrigerator, with plenty left over for lighting and charging phones. I love the dual fuel option so I can easily switch to propane during an extended outage when gasoline gets scarce. I'd recommend Westinghouse to anyone looking for a great, feature rich household generator.
