I bought this item for power outages resulting from the heavy storms and possible hurricanes we experience here in N Florida. The fact it can use gas or propane is great, and has great features like multiple outlets, gas indicator, electric start, and is easily movable via the wheels and handle. Greater watt output as well.

I've only had it for one day, but so far, so good. Assembly was easy. It's easy to move despite weighing ~200 lbs. The push button start is nice. Overall, the unit looks good. The trickle charger for the battery is really convenient. I still need to hook-up the 240V/30A connection to see how well it will work for powering some appliances in the house. The fuel gauge is nice to have, but doesn't seem to be working properly. The unit was scratched upon receipt. I added a little over 1/2 gallon of gas and it wasn't able to start off of that. After adding 2 more gallons, it started just fine.

I received this unit today and was excited to start it up for break in and testing. Initially the unit would not start on the gas option after two hours of trying. As I continued to troubleshoot and eliminate root causes, I switched over to propane and it fired right up. Thus, I had a gas issue but that's all that I knew. I went through all of the troubleshooting suggestions but nothing worked. Finally I decided to remove the small solenoid on the bottom if the carburetor and found my issue. It poured gas as I was removing it and upon full removal I noticed the small needle valve was slightly stuck. After a few gentle pushes with my finger, I then remounted it and it fired up as expected. I then ran it for about 30 minutes to clear out any gunk in the fuel system. I suspect it was factory fired but not with quality fuel which left some gummy residiue, and caused the small needle valve to stick. The corrective action is not for the general consumer with limited mechanical skills, nor should they be required. Factory testing should also include fuel or cleaning options that would allow the purchasing consumer the ability to start with minimum effort and instructions just like with the propane option. Looks like a fantastic unit and trust that it will serve my purpose when needed so overall I gave it a 4 rating for now. Without the gas starting issues, I would have rated it a 5 based on apperance and overall construction. It is a bit heavy which makes it difficult to transport on uneven surfaces (e.g. gravel, dirt, etc.).

Purchased within the last year and have used a couple of times to run it in preparation for an emergency. I love the push start and remote start features as well as fuel options (gas vs. propane). The unit is easy to set up. It's loud but does the job.

This is an excellent Generator! I use it both for home and business. It is the quietest generator in its class. For the money, this is the absolute best generator on the market. The Propane is perfect if you connect it to your house when their is a power outage. Remote start works flawlessly and my wife and daughter can click to start when hte power goes out. Highly recommend.

This was the perfect generator for my purposes. It was easy to set-up and fill with oil. Everything is included. It supplies the 240 Volt well pump AND reservoir pump. It started quickly and the key fob is wonderful to be able to stop it from a distance except the manual states to unplug cords before starting or stopping. Any power outage that comes our way will be overcome with the Westinghouse generator.

I purchased this generator after a couple of recent day-long outages. I ran some tests with it and it powered everything except my HVAC and electric water heater (note that I have a well pump). I turned everything off except the well pump and a couple of lighting circuits and I could run my water heater as well. I'm ready for the winter now!

I put it together when i recieved it. It was very easy. I was anxious to start it up,but it would not start. So I sat and thought what did I forget. I did not turn the gas switch on. Once I completed my situation,I used the remote,and she started right up! I went into the house and pushed the wireless Remote start through a steel door in the kitchen ,and she started right up! Don"t think about buying one just do it. I have theWGEN7500

This generator only took a few minutes to set up and get running. It started instantly and runs strong. I love the ability to use propane or gas and to switch back and forth as desired. This will be used with a transfer switch as a backup generator for loss of power but if you need to use it for other reasons there are plenty of receptacles.

Just received it and got it started. Instructions are good and easy to follow. Unit started up very quickly and wasn't as loud as I expected. Has great features like remote start and dual fuel. Came with oil canister and all the accessories I needed.
