After reading the reviews on this product, I'm glad I made this decision. This is so simple to setup and operate. The documentation is accurate and complete. I love the auto choke, it makes operating this so simple. I'm also glad that I opted for the dual fuel. If your use is like mine, this will mostly be sitting idle in my garage, but I don't have to worry about storing gasoline for a long period of time. I can rely on the propane tank for short outages and switch to gasoline if the outage becomes longer then expected.

Arrived in great condition with no damage to the unit itself. Assembly was simple - add two feet and two wheels and some oil basically. The funnel is a must so make sure you hold onto that. I couldn't get it running on propane with the electric start so I had to pull start it to get it running. It ran at a VERY low idle and I let it run for an hour to break it in, then changed the oil and run it again with fresh stuff. My one issue is the electric starter keeps re-engages after its running and sounds like the starter is going to grind the teeth off of the unit. Obviously I can't use it until I address the problem with Westinghouse soon. Overall the quality seems high and all of the extra features like remote key fob, electric start, dual fuel option, fuel gauge, external battery charger and others make this a top option in the price category. I'd recommend this generator and only purchased it after lots of research and comparing.

I really wanted the next WGen DF model up, but became unavailable the day before I was ready to purchase. I settled on the the WGen7500DF. Of course though, when you buy one for the winter months, we don't get any power outages to test it real time. So Far, So Good though. Likes: - It came with a small low cost, but effective toolkit/pouch for installing the feet and removing the spark plug. - Assembly was easy. - Battery came pre-charged enough to start it up. It did not require you to charge it. - Ran it with the propane tank that I had. The exhaust smell was reminiscent of our grill... Go figure. - It started on the first try. I love it when that happens. - It seems to be setup and laid out on the main panel for your convenience. Nothing confusing about it. - The engine & electrical is broken down in the parts diagrams (as it should be) so it can be repaired/maintained in the future. On the humorous side, You can charge your smartphone with the USB connector. Nits: Only Manual related: My only nit to pick is that for initial setup, including propane hose attachment, the manual could be improved. - Even though I knew what to do, the manual did not indicate that the unit is shipped with no oil - Only a tag on the dip stick gave you a hint. - The propane hose attachment instructions could be copied into the Unpacking/Setup section. Logically, the flow of information is disjointed. This does not effect anything related to operation. Bottom Line: - I would recommend this, and the next models up for any serious person who requires a generator that does what you need. While being a major purchase, The Westinghouse WGen7500DF so far, is worth it.

Just received and assembled my 9500DF, what a fantastic generator, I am blown away by the features and the would be options that other generators lack. Having worked with engineers for over forty years, I really appreciate the design and quality of this generator, not to mention the unbelievable price, can't wait to get it hooked up and running, great job Westinghouse!

Haven't actually needed it yet, but I've started it up a few times and it fires right up every time. I have two spare propane tanks ready to go. So glad I waited for this to be in stock. I'll be happy if I don't need to use it but I know I'm ready if I do.

I love my new generator! The dual fuel (gas and propane) give me lots of versatility. In spite of its weight, the foldaway handle makes it very easy for me to maneuver. I also love how much of my house it will let me power at the same time. I feel much more prepared for whatever may come.

I searched reviews for a lot of portable generator brands for a month before deciding on the Wgen7500DF. I just received my Wgen7500DF today and the quality, price and easy set up is 2nd to none. You get a lot of bang for your buck with this Westinghouse generator and there are many wattage sizes to meet your need. I am extremely pleased and satisfied.

Although frustrated with buying the generator and it now working right out the box. Once I contacted Westinghouse and worked through several issues, namely cleaning the carburetor and slightly tapping the gas solenoid to release the pin; the generator finally started. Where the generator failed I feel the costumer service was outstanding. Thank you for the help.

I bought this product a couple months ago, but was unable to use it because I was needing the HVAC person to install the electrical outlets and connections for it. So I pretty much stayed several weeks out in my shed. When we finally meet needed to use it and try it out. It was a bit difficult to turn it on, but it was just a spark plug that someone else figured out. Besides that it turns on smoothly. So far so good.

Right out of the box you can tell this is a quality item. Very nice instruction set and everything was in the box. A few simple steps and it was up and running. Its loaded with nice features (dual fuel, e-start, etc). Glad I bought it to run the house during power loss. I have a Honda that just doesn't have the power available. Paid the same for this with many more features.
