Yum!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super yummy! I made this for Thanksgiving for my family and it was surprisingly good for a box stuffing! I made the home style version with onions, celery, and a few other extra ingredients. Definitely a great option if you need something quick

Delicious brown butter and herb stuffing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Savory comfort food. Can taste all the herbs, butter, and salt. Chicken broth is delicious. Would be a great addition to Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner. Instructions on box were on pointe. Crispy baked on top.

I'm impressed!

I followed the basic directions on the package. Black pepper and a shredded rotisserie chicken were the only things added. Pros: *Moist- It's just right if you like your dressing (stuffing) in the middle..not too dry and not too wet. I do like a bit of a drier dressing, so I may cut back on the broth next time just to see what that does, but it's truly perfect where it's at. *Super flavorful! I only added black pepper. I can't think of one single spice that I could add next time. It's definitely not lacking in that department. *It doesn't taste anything like Stove Top. *It's not sweet. I don't care for sweet dressing (made from sweet cornbread like Jiffy). Yuck! I know a lot of people do and that's okay, but I just can't. *Easy and quick to fix! Remember, I fixed just the basic recipe. It does give a few options/ideas on there to try. It doesn't make a lot of dirty dishes and no slaving over the stove. In under 10min, I had that sucker in the oven. It may have gone quicker if I didn't have a puppy under my feet begging for some chicken. Don't worry, she got some! Cons: *The obvious: It's simply not homemade dressing! Growing up and into my adulthood dressing has always been a big thing/tradition in our family. Dare I say it's practically the star of the show! I also always use cornbread in my dressing. *Maybe a tad bit salty and I love salt! I do think I will use a lower sodium broth next time. I had some Tones chicken bouillon cubes on hand that I dissolved into hot water for my broth. They're very flavorful, which I love, but they do run salty. It could be that's the issue and not the box. I'm not quite sure, so take this one with a grain of salt, pun intended! I may seriously just do this for Thanksgiving this year and that is saying a lot. It'll just be me and my husband, who doesn't eat dressing. Blasphemy!! I think it'll satisfy the dressing craving for me once I add in some chopped onion and bellpepper. I'm very glad I gave this a try. Fyi: I found my local Walmart sells a box of this exact thing for under $4. It makes a 9x9 pan, perfect to try out before you make a big batch. Who wants to risk ruining their big meal! Not me.

Stick to homemade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product was extremely salty and you had to add several items to it to make. I prefer my own homemade stuffing to this. It was easy to make and the packaging was attractive but I just didn’t like this.
