I bought this due to reviews that compare these with Barefoot Dreams. I have 3 Barefoot Dreams blankets and while these are soft and pretty I have 2 cats that have “fluffed” my BD blankets for years. The one of these I got a week ago today has 3 holes in it already! The quality is obviously not close when they've lasted years and this not even a week!

Not very soft at all. Based on all the rave reviews I was expecting it to be incredibly soft. It IS cushy and seems well constructed, but the hand feel is NOT soft to the touch. It even has some kind of scratchy fibers if you squeeze it. I'm wondering if they've altered the quality. I do like the stretchiness and it's a nice weight. I've just gotten much, much softer things of a similar fabric type (socks, sweaters, blankets). I've never touched anything by barefoot dreams so don't know how it compares, but if BFD is similar softness then it's a true rip off. I don't think this blanket is worth the thirty bucks I paid for it.

I first got this back in March and was so surprised by the feel. I knew it would be soft but it was softer than I imagined and has a slightly stretchy feel to it. I also love the pink/off white giraffe color pattern. I caved in and bought 2 more in the same color…other colors I liked were sold out…which I got a week and a half early. It's also light for a blanket so it can keep you warm without making you hot throughout the year.

This is a huge dupe. Don't question, just add to cart and thank me later.

You can easily get these mixed up with barefoot dreams one. You will not regret it.

I love my blankets, but I did order 4 different colors and they gave me the wrong one. So be careful with that but overall an amazing blanket.
