We live in Alberta, Canada. We ski in the winter and drive dozens of times through the mountain passes in inclement and unpredictable weather. Black ice and storms are common. I have driven in less quality tires, and I feel the difference, especially over time. Recommend only Blizzaks, and will even buy them for my young adult children to ensure their safety. Worth it, believe me.

Blizzak is by far the best tire for gripping ice. I was fortunate, to have opportunity to drive in winter conditions and compare these tires with other high end tires. We had 3 new 7 passenger vans with different winter tires, they were all comparable in snow traction but the ice traction of a Blizzak is superior!

Drove with these tires up a 35 degree incline while other cars slid past. Also drove on compacted snow, fresh snow over ice and deep snow. Every winter situation drove fine, I didn't speed of course. I have 20k miles on them and they still have 40% tread left due to the amount of rubber they have compared to other winter tires. I change them out for summer.

I travel home home to WhistlerBC and Penticton. I've woken up to 3 feet of snow. Unplowed roads. Mountain highway and never had an issue. Just the piece of mind knowing that I have the best tires for a safe trip. Nothing stopping me! I can't say enough about these tires. This is my 3rd set. I have them on both my Subaru's.

This is my third set, these tires have always performed well for me, they are compliant, reliable, and offer excellent winter traction. A superior tire in all conditions. I am hoping to try the LT version in the near future.

Have used Blizzak winter tires across 3 Canadian provinces for as long as I can remember. Always trust them to get me where I need to be in all sorts of winter driving. Would recommend to anyone.

I have bought this tire before. Good traction, smooth. American Tire in Anchorage Alaska, fast friendly. ..... I have bought for five cars/trucks. Good tire.

Excellent winter tire for Canada winter out west But not the best on ice as one needs claws or studded tires for ice.I just stay home when roads are ice covered as too dangerous for most of us anyways.
