I bought this to add to my deck expansion. With the help of my sons. We got it assembled. Took longer than expected, but had limited time where my sons could come over & help. Instructions were very detailed. Only issue was a couple of the posts had holes drilled in wrong place for the corner brackets & had to drill new holes and it wasn't easy taking the plastic wrap off the metal parts. That's the reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars. We are loving the new gazebo.

We purchased this gazebo 9 months ago and chose to put it up ourselves. Shortly after receiving it we had to move out of our home due to slab leak repairs in our kitchen. We were finally able to put it together and it was a fun and challenging project. The instructions are very clear, however you need to be somewhat mechanically inclined. It’s a beautiful gazebo and a wonderful addition to our backyard. Having electricity is a nice touch too. We plan to install a ceiling fan. We’re looking forward to many family gatherings and coffee chats.

I bought this a couple months ago and it took about 2 days to build and 3 people at times and wasn't too difficult. Love the power feature so we can add lights around it soon. It completes the back yard perfectly and provides shade at a reasonable price since patio covers are so high. Materials seem nice and sturdy and look quality.

Love our backyard discovery gazebo. Definitely big task to put together tho. I put it together by myself and took me 2 weekends to get it done (95F degree days, many breaks were required). I did have to get help from a neighbor to lift the roof panels into place. But otherwise we are very happy with it.

Our recent purchase of this gazebo has made the perfect addition to our patio. It has brought us from inside to the great outdoors more than before we had it. Our friends and neighbors comment on how great it looks. It’s the best addition to our home. We added lights for evenings and WOW it makes the perfect place to sit outside at night with friends. We love it! My husband and I wished we did it sooner. Great addition to our home!!

This gazebo is very nice when complete. We were concerned with space and the level of our concrete patio since we have a pool and the concrete slopes so we opted to put it together ourselves. Oh my.... that was a project and there was much cussing. But the finished product is absolutely worth it. We've installed a ceiling fan and string lights. We will be installing one of backyard disvovery's grill gazebos that matches the Cordova as soon as the slab is ready!

I have never enjoyed my backyard like this before.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A couple of neighbors and I put it together and really pleased with the way it went together and more importantly the way it looked after it was up. It looks great and I would absolutely recommend to my friends.

I bought this 16x12 Barrington for its style and guarantees with the wind and weight load. Most gazebos, I noticed my research, are only rated for half the wind and weight load of this one. It came palletized in six boxes. You need a large area to spread everything out to make sense of the parts. There were two pieces of wood that were damaged in the box, but the company immediately replaced same within a couple days without a problem. I did need two other people to attach the legs to the framework and again to install the roof panels. The 16-ft roof panels were a challenge to install because of their weight and awkwardness of its size. I did need a little help with the rubber mallet and wood clamps for this step. I did find it weird that you install the drip edge over the roof and not under. The rain does go down under the drip edge, over the cedar fascia, and onto the deck. I don't know how long this wood will last before rotting. They should figure out a different way to finish the roof with the water being diverted in a different way. Also, when I had the paver patio installed I gave the contractor the measurements to wear each post was going to be located. He then poured a concrete footing under the pavers and those pavers are also embedded in the concrete. I used 5-in concrete anchor screws to lock down the posts.

Took a weekend with a couple of friends to put together but very happy with this. Added an outdoor fan and light and makes for a great place to get out of the sun and relax. Would buy Backyard Discovery products again.
