Extremely messy. Not worth the hassle.Like others stated the thick paper on the sides makes it almost impossible to cut and serve. When you do slice it the whole cake, filling and all just crumbles everywhere. Everyone said it was good but I would never buy it again.

Beautiful cake, nice presentation. It tasted good, no complaints there. BUT, cutting it was a nightmare. The cardboard "cupcake" piece ariund the bottom was difficult to remove. The cake is so tall and isnt stable once you start removing slices. We had a leaning tower of pisa, and it collapsed! Taste wise we liked it and I would eat it again, but, cutting and serving - no.

Definitely not as bad as I thought it was going to be, based off what the reviews were saying. My cake was not dry and I'm pretty sure it wasn't dry because I got the freshest one they had available. I keep was set out for sale only a few days ago. But the cake is a little hard to cut from the cardboard and if your cake isn't fresh then it's definitely going to be crumbly. My cake was not super moist however it was not dry. And as far as the moose goes it didn't taste far off from homemade. It seems like there's a lot of artificial ingredients in this cake a lot of preservatives and whatnot however it appears that most of that stuff is in the sprinkles. Not to say this is one clean cake LOL. Seeing the price that went down at my store and figured it's worth getting and trying. Cut the Cake at room temperature like I did, soon as I got it home I set it out on the cover and didn't cut it for 3 hours. Look at the dates before purchasing. I'm pretty sure most of those bad reviews are due to having an older cake.

I'm a big fan of Cake Boss and was so excited when Sam's started carrying these cakes. The confetti cupcake was a bad experience so Buddy's team reached out wanting to know more. I had a great conversation with Buddy, he listened to my concerns and encouraged me to try the Chocolate Peanut butter cake because he's made some enhancements to both cakes. The chocolate is much better than my previous experience but still the cake alone is a little dry. The peanut butter mouse is delicious and when mixed with the cake you have a nice cake parfait. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough mouse to mix with all the cake so half of it had to be thrown out. While I enjoyed the portion I could eat, I would not recommend to someone looking for a good cake. I appreciate the Cake Boss for taking the time to speak with me, that shows his love and commitment to his brand and his customers.

This is dry. The chocolate jimmies add wax not flavor. The entire thing tasted freezer burnt. What a waste of money.

Delicious cake! Very hard to cut, but the cake is moist, rich and chocolatey. Everyone at the party thought it was really good. I would definitely recommend.

I purchased this as a dessert for Christmas, and I must say that it is tasty and very rich. Unfortunately, I would not likely purchase it again; it fell apart. I was unable to make a clean cut. Everybody's slice was lying flat; it was a mess.

I was nervous about buying this cake at first, but I am so glad that I did. Moist chocolate cake and peanut butter filling that is velvety smooth with a rich fudge frosting. What could be better?

To the guy who put my groceries in ky car: omg, so worth tge money. Giant cupcake is so good. Peanut butter mousse is freamy and tasty. Got to get you one 😋
