I used these on my 2020 Toyota Rav4 Limited Hybrid through 4 winters in New Brunswick, Canada. I know they were good,but was incredibly amazed New year's Eve of 2022 when I inadvertently when driving in freezing rain. I was on Route 2 divided highway heading east in the rain slowed down to 70km/hr when I crested a hill to see 3 tractor trailers pulled off the road with 4 way flashers going. I took the next exit and headed back home. Everything was coated in wet ice by that time,but my Michelin Xice Tires never loss grip! I remain impressed!!!

I am so thrilled with these tires. I live in and commute in rural New Hampshire and Vermont, and I have felt very confident when driving in this winter’s messy ice and snow. I can easily get out of snow, and I haven’t struggled with maintaining traction on any roads, whether they were highway, state roads, or unpaved back roads. The ride is also very smooth.

These tires are not recommended for use as winter tires in snowy conditions. Cornering and Handling: During turns, the tires provide poor lateral support. Both axles experience slippage, reducing the ability to maintain proper control. This effect is especially pronounced when moving from one rut to another. Inclines and Sloped Roads: On inclined or sloped surfaces at speeds as low as 20 km/h, the vehicle tends to drift off the road without corrective input, demonstrating a critical lack of directional stability. Overall Safety Assessment: Based on real-world driving experience, these tires are highly unsafe in wet, snowy, and sloped conditions. They may only be suitable for use in autumn and spring, on well-maintained roads. Extreme caution is recommended when operating under adverse conditions.These tires are not recommended. They are unsafe on the road, particularly in wet, snowy, or icy conditions. Seek alternative options for winter driving.

I put these on a 2014 Honda Pilot. I planned on taking them off the next summer. But I ended up leaving them on. I was a little worried that they would wear out quickly but 4 years later and 49600 miles they still are pretty good, not down to the wear bars yet. We live in ND, in the country with gravel roads. I just ordered another set to be put on this Saturday. I am very impressed!

I purchased 4 X-ICE SNOW tires for our Volvo XC 60 We are very pleased with their performance. They are quiet, responsive and provide confident handling in snow and frozen road conditions. All as promised Our summer tires are Primacy, also, excellent Sizes are 235 / 60 / R18

Purchased these tires for my 2014 Kia Forte and never had experience the safe handling while driving on the highway doing long distance to work in the snowy condition as well as slush,bought another set for my Kia Sportage as well ,I highly recommend these tires for handling ,traction and they're performance in snow/icy road condition

I purchased my first set of Michelin X-Ice snow tires in the autumn of 2014. I ran them each winter until last winter (2024), which was eleven years of use, and they still had usable tread, and were subsequently used for another vehicle. I purchased a new set this year (2025) because I was so impressed by their traction, performance, and lack of noise. They have tremendous grip in snow and ice. I try to avoid driving in snow, being retired, but sometimes for medical appointments and such, it cannot be avoided. I am so confident driving with these winter tires. They outperform the Michelin Primacy All-Season tires that I have, which are also impressive tires, and I am on my second set of them for a few years. You can't go wrong with Michelin. I would purchase no other brand.

This is my second set of X-ice tires for my F-150. I actually liked the performance of the first set, so I decided to get the latest version. I have to say I couldn't be less impressed by these tires. The overall traction, performance and durability of these tires is very poor. I have plenty of weight in the box to help with traction yet the truck wheels just spin in the slightest bit of snow and ice. Even though it's constantly in 4 x 4. I don't recommend this version of X-ice.

I think these tires are perfect. I have RWD Cadillac, and my winter experience was awesome. It gives very nice control at mid snow depth, and still can let you our in high depth snow. It is a top brand, and it gives you exactly what you are expecting to get.

I only use the tires in the winter. They provide excellent traction and handling, best of all they are quiet for a snow tire.
