This set is fantastic! I have the cranberry with gold knob. It is so beautiful I read some of the reviews that said it was not porcelain finished. I see why the reviewers might have that impression because its black porcelain not the cream we are all used to. But it's definitely a porcelain finished cast iron interior. I love love love it and you will too!!

I was so excited to use this pot on Sunday afternoon, but the experience quickly turned into a nightmare. The large pot does not seal correctly. Steam escapes from the lid and creates large puddles of water all over my stove. No matter what I tried, nothing helped. I’m extremely disappointed, especially because I can’t even return it since I tossed the box. I had so much faith in this product, but it completely failed my expectations.

Nowhere in the description on this does it give detailed information about the materials used for this. I scoured reviews to see what others said and found some saying that the inside is just raw cast iron. That is not true, although it appears there a be some kind of black enamel on the inside, it is sprayed with non-stick PFAS/“forever chemicals”. This is exactly what I am trying to NOT use by using cast iron. I am so sad because these are gorgeous, but I absolutely will not use and am so frustrated it didn’t say this in the description. After seeing the suspiciously shiny and water repellant surface on the inside, I scanned the QR code that came with the item, and it gives the chemical disclaimer which says that PFAS are intentionally added. No thank you.
