Sam;s Club has a lot of nerve posting in their description "....will last for years to come." HA! Became not usable in a year. Edger stopped working properly. Customer Service and two year warranty not very useful. Wish I would have purchased a decent brand.

I bought this combo (trimmer/edger) three years ago. I have run the heck out of it and it has performed beautifully. I am now in the process of doing a slight rebuild of the unit. I have ordered an new muffler assembly (which includes the muffler, screen, gasket and heat shield), spark plug and fuel filter. Replacements due primarily to my use of gasoline with ethanol. I have since changed to the pre-mixed fuel that does not contain ethanol. This trimmer has performed outstandingly since I purchased it. Starts every time, runs like a top including the auto feed trimmer head. With normal maintenance and care I expect this trimmer to run well for many more years.

I struggled to start it, My son struggled to start it. With the edger on the engine struggled to maintain speed to get a good clean cut. When changing attachments it is very difficult to start and the spark plug boot pops off very easy. I would not recommend

Runs great, powerful, makes quick work of things and I found it easy to start. Not a huge fan of the bump feed, but works well enough.

Starts well & trims well -- haven't tried the edger yet. Seems to be verty good quality. A tad bit heavy for an old guy.

Engine runs good, however, head is a total joke. Nobody fixes them and nothing works after hours and hours of working on it. It's cheap because is is CHEAP...................

Powerhead is very heavy. Gets really hot after running for like 10 min. Vibrates a lot. Gas stated leaking within a year of 20x 15min use. Called Warranty coming and they said it's not covered since it's a maintenance issue. Warranty is a joke. Spend more and get a decent brand. You get what you pay for. DO NOT BUY.

Purchased 07.02.2017 and still rocking and rolling! For the money this is the one. I use this every week (I live in Florida) Easy start and replace line. Heavy duty and the better of the others I have owned. I do use a fuel stabilizer and ethanol remover. Starts on the second pull - even after almost three years. All the other OEM attachments fit, directly. Very happy with this unit. If it ever quits, I would replace it with the same.

Both the trimmer and the edger attachment works well. Great for the price!
