Heavy, but very nice. I got the Christmas Trees. I like that they can be evergreen through the season without screaming 'seasonal'. They are very well done. Just be aware that they are heavy pieces.

Very pretty, classy dishes... Beware, they chip VERY easily. Washed in the dishwasher, was taking them out, barely hit plates together and one chipped! Will be returning :(

bought 3 sets of this dishes (the Christmas tree design) on clearance and I am returning all 3 sets. I really like the bowls and the green salad plates, but the dinner plates are the problem. The designs are askew on most of the plates. Would be ok if on one side of the plate the trees are right on the edge of the plate and as you go around, they deviate further and further down. They end up about 1 - 1 1/2" from the edge of the plate. Some plates the design in nearly perfect all the way around so this isn't part of the design. I will keep looking for other Christmas dinnerware.

Pine and Holly Berries 12 pc , & Snowflake set in 12pc review: On clearance I had four sets of each of these patterns sent to me. Both are beautiful and substantial. I wasnt expecting the heft or thickness of this stoneware. These are not thin cheap plates or bowls. The photos do not do these justice. I know that phrase can get thrown around a lot to describe products but in the case its absolutely the truth. I cant believe each set was $14.97 on mark down. I bought four sets because I have 3 adult children and they have families now. Sixteen settings cover me for many years going forward and I will have have extras in case of an accidental broken piece. The snowflake pattern is just so clean, breathtaking pretty and nuetral. The snowflakes are embossed down into the stoneware and so this gives the dishes a texture. The pine and berry has a nice slightly raised painted texture. You can really feel the texture of the pine needles and berries. Its not thin cheap paint. It seems like the paint might be ceramic as well. Again the quality is just amazing. I was so torn on which pattern to keep for myself. The pine holly berry made me feel more festive in a traditional holiday sense. I could barely let go of the snowflake because they're just stunning. I kept the pine holly berry and ill use it throughout winter. Im going to gift the other sets to my family. I usually keep a set holiday tablescape everyday during the holidays and the pine berry tends to go more with the various color themes I utilize. I'll also use these for holiday buffets. Sams always has amazing holiday products, foods, and decor.
