We purchased this to Zibo because of the overall style in the electrical seizures and structural integrity. We are so happy with it it looks amazing and living in Arizona I'm confident now that I've added three coats of Watco finishing oil; it will continue to look amazing. I can't believe my neighbor spent over 7K for an aluminum structure, wrinkly it looks like a complicated gutter system.

Bought this last summer and we love it! Assembly was challenging, even with 4 of us because of heavy pcs, and the high roof, but we did it. If I buy another, I would pay for set up. ;) This gazebo is so well built, sturdy and good looking. Survived winter no problem. Highly recommend this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought our Backyard Discovery Gazebo in June of 2023. So far it has been a great entertaining area for both friends and family! I think Backyard Discovery gazebos would make a fun addition to anybodies backyard. As someone who has bought one and have enjoyed it very much, I would suggest having a slab poured and plan out exactly where you may want to add a future dedicated electrical outlets or even possibly running water. We learned the hard way….lol I also suggest putting a nice good quality sealant on it soon after it's built as well as think about adding gutters to it. For no other reason other than just to protecting your investment. Here are a couple pics for inspiration ideas…

Bought this in the summer and couldn't be happier with the result! It was so great to have this during the hottest months in Texas to cool off, as well as more recently during the rainy days to keep my patio area dry, especially with two little doggies who love it as well! We wrapped it in lights thanks to the plug it comes with, which made it easy to have the electrical access and the lights make my backyard so fun and homey!! Thank you Backyard Discovery!!

The instructions, videos and clearly labeled parts, made the construction "easy" to do. The finished product has already become a favorite spot to hang out with family, friends, and each other. This definitely is alot of work. it says it takes 3 people 10 hrs. I'd say 2 & both should have tools. it's not difficult to build. I did most of it myself (I'm a 45 yr old woman) with help from my son & his friend with the roof. the only negative I have is the clamp that it comes with is not strong enough & the one we received was broken. overall I love the gazebo & have been enjoying it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had spent years running out during high winds or thunder storms, climbing on a ladder to pull the cover off my old lightweight patio gazebo. I desperately wanted to upgrade but the cost of building my own was crazy expensive. Then comes the Cordova! What a huge upgrade! Unit looks great even like I built it myself (well I did!). It was a lot of work to build but I'm very happy with the outcome. Be sure to give yourself time to build it. It does take time and extra help. Don't rush and layout all of the parts. You'll need extra help lifting the roof panels into place. They are not light. Plan ahead, take your time and it will be well worth the effort. They also gave one or two extra of every fastener. No missing parts! That all said, I did have a number of chipped or warped boards. Careful planning allowed me to cover or straighten most of them. Backyard Discovery did offer to send me extra stain (which was nice!) but haven't seen it yet. Will be adding my own electrical and ceiling fan in the next week. Just in time to enjoy the summer!

Not going to lie-this thing is a beast to out together. The directions could be a tad clearer for the average person. There are very specific ways to attach things and if anything is backwards it'll mess up the whole thing. We ended up having to drill a few additional holes to assemble the roof panels. It's not perfect, but it's sturdy and looks great! Take your time and have 2-3 people to help. :)

The gazebo is very sturdy and looks nice the pre drilled holes are not always exactly where they should be and you will need to drill some that werent drilled out clean. it woukd be well worth the 650$ for installation as we spent about 20-25 hrs assembling this. overall i am happy with the finished product and it seems like it will withstand the new england winters.
