I just bought this vacuum today and wow! We have hardwood and laminate through our whole house so I've just been sweeping and mopping. I recently purchased a rug for our living room and needed a vacuum. We saw this at Sam's Club and decided to purchase it. I just put it together in less than 10 minutes and put it to work. I cannot believe how much it picked up. My rug has only been down for about two weeks and the canister filled up on the first pass! I went over my rug a second time and it still picked up more dirt, dog hair, and cat hair. I'm so impressed! It was a little hard to push around but I do have a weak arm from an old surgery

I bought this bc it was a third of the Dyson vacuum price that Sam's Club sells and which I have owned for the past few years. This Bissell picks up well, swivels very nicely and is easy to dump cannister contents. The tools that are carried are constantly wanting to fall off, the vacuum falls over super easily, making it difficult to vacuum and endangering nearby items it could fall into. The cord retracts nicely, but is much too short for my personal liking. I found it hard to push through higher pile carpet even when set on its' highest setting. I thought the price was not bad, but I can't keep a vacuum with these problematic issues.

I should have done more research. So many people said wonderful things that I purchased one. We have a golden retriever that SHEDS but only one plush carpet in the family room. After 3 uses, the belt started smoking due to the hair that collected in the belt area. I had to stop and clean every thing out. I contacted BISSELL who suggested that I make sure the brush was on the highest setting. So I did, used it two more times, same problem. For a pet vacuum this is ridiculous.

Pros: cord rewind works Cons: Very heavy; does not work on bare floors; very hard to empty; customer support is non-existant; website for parts must have been designed 20 years ago. It ook me 40 minutes to work throught the maze to order a $5 filter, and then was charged $6 for shipping. The foam weighs less than an ounce. Extremely heavy; does not work on bare floors;

Bought this to replace my Eureka that I could no longer get parts for. Design is very similar. This one obviously works better based on the first vacuum. My house was getting dusty due to poor workmanship with the HVAC install. Return ducts were not sealed properly. This added a lot of dust. Fixed that earlier this year. Have vacuumed sice that was completed. Obviously by the picture you can see how much more dirt was still in the carpet. That was a single vacuum.

I've always had used cheap vacuums. I'm a young adult and I've had a hard time paying alot of money for a vacuum. Well my one broke so I was tired of having junk ones. I purchased this one and brought it home. I was so excited to play with my new toy (being adult is odd where you are excited to play with a vacuum) it was very easy to set up I didn't even have to look at the instructions, I did afterwards to make sure I did it right. I have 3 dogs and 3 cats and 2 kids so I need a vacuum that can hold up to all the pet hair. I had to empty it after each room! I couldn't believe how much per hair this picked up and dirt! I have hairy dogs that play in the mud. It picked up alot of dirt and hair! So if you have dogs, cats, kids, or what ever and you need a good vacuum I highly recommend! Very easy to use! I'm so happy it's like a Christmas present! It's like a shop vac in a vacuum!

I am glad my old vacuum broke down, or I wouldn't have realized how much it didn't pick up. I have a 140 lb dog and 4 cats and this vacuum did an amazing job. My husband said it picked up enough hair and dirt to make another pet. I am very happy with my purchase and you can't beat the price.

This is a fantastic vacuum for the price. Pick this up to replace the dirt devil who is motorhead burned out. Took a chance and grab this at Sam's end it exceeded our expectations. The suction is incredible and it provides cjed yo so much dirt and dander. I was in awe.

It was disgusting how much stuff was sucked up after using our other vacuum that is a shark. Soooo happy I purchased this, I've debating it for a while but decided for $129 I would try it. I wouldn't recommend it for high carpet though, it doesn't do well with our area rug, you have to really keep pushing but other than that it's great
