I bought this vacuum for the kitty litter in addition to my other 3 vacuums of which have specific purposes as well. it is VERY heavy at 15 pounds (centered on the wheels so you dont have to lift it) but I'll manage. you do have to assemble a little bit which is way too much work for me. I don't do anything. ever. also I dropped a whole toolbox of wrenchs on the floor and this thing wont even suck them up... hello! where's the suction power promised? I was hoping to strip the clear coat off my hardwoods with this but alas it is just a vacuum. oh well... one star from me.

It was a good vacuum. I didn't realize how much suction the previous one had lost till it died and we replaced it with this. I loved the stairs attachment, till my children took it and it became lost. The roller brush never stopped spinning when turned on. That ultimately lead to the bearing or whatever of the brush getting so worn out that it broke and we can't fix it. Lasted about a year. Was good for that year till it died.

PROS: Fantastic Vacuum. Picks up pet hair like nothing and comes with attachments for cleaning other surfaces such as couches, corners, etc. The suction is awesome and picked up extra dirt from areas where I previously vacuumed with the one I am replacing. Good price. CONS: A little heavy. Still doesn't get 100% along walls but the side bristles help a little when running it parrallel to it.

Before I bought this vacuum we had a Shark Vacuum. My husband unfortunately broke it so I was so upset that I had to buy another one. We had just moved that week and I was desperate for a vacuum. I was looking at the cordless vacuums, and talked to friends who had them and they all said they would not recommend one. I saw this vacuum only because it was the cheapest one, and thought “okay” well try it out. I AM IN LOVE! This is the best vacuum I have ever owned ! Even better then my shark! And you can't beat the price !! I don't even have a pet but I think a (2 year old and a husband count) if you are hesitating on purchasing this vacuum, don't ! YOU NEED IT !

Just got this and I think its GREAT. Have a Shark rotator already and needed something upstairs as the Shark is too heavy for me to carry upstairs. We have a white dog and 2 light cats. This picked up a whole tankful of hair the other one missed !!. Its lightweight and easy to use. This will become my main vac and the Shark will go upstairs !!

I hate this vacuum so much! It falls over when you use the attachments. Another problem with the attachments is that when you use them- debris and dirt fly into the air because there is nothing to cover the place where the hose was connected. I have contacted Bissell and they say it is just how it is. Do not buy this vacuum!

I just retired my second Dyson because it was too hard to push, the on button wouldn't stay on so I taped it down, and the attachments were a pain in the butt to use. This Bissell is very light weight, has great suction, very nice feature of the cord automatically retracting. The technology has really improved over the last 10 yrs. I recommend this product for the performance, the price of $110 is a bonus.
