Bissell CleanView Swivel Rewind Pet Upright Vacuum has nice features BUT (at no fault of Sam's Club) the quality of the machine is so much less than previous models. The sweeper it is replacing was heavy duty, had a long cord and numerous attachments. This newer model has a shorter cord (inconvenient), has fewer wands for reaching difficult places (super inconvenient) and it doesn't work with previous models wands--it is a different size (outrageous). The machine is so lightweight that when you are using the wands and have to stretch to reach something--the sweeper actually falls over. I was expecting more of a machine. Workmanship isn't what it use to be.

I'd bought a Dyson approximately 4-5 years ago. I was impressed at first, but it kept breaking down in one way or another and I couldn't use the wand after a year of use. So far I'm as happy as can be with the Bissel!! The suction beats what my Dyson ever did. $110 versus a $450 paperweight? There's no comparison in my books!!

The picture looked quite nice, but it's actually a very cheap plastic. The suction is good on carpet and ok on tile floors. The attachments are junk that just keep falling off the machine. They should add an hook at the top to hold the chord out of the way so that it stays out of the way without always having to hold it. The design is not the best for $110 dollars I expect it to be better than fair. Definitely would NOT recommend.

I bought this less than a month ago because of the reviews and features listed. Says it is great for pet hair, all floor types, yada yada. For one after going from carpet to hard flooring all the pet hair just blows out the back. The self rewind is horrible. Always wants to go back into the vacuum and unplugs itself. Seems like the best way to pickup anything is just by using the hose.

One of the filters was missing. A week later (after Thanksgiving) it arrived too late to clean for my guests over the holiday. I plugged it in after filter arrived. It smelled like it was going to catch fire. I'm returning this item today without having ever using it. So, two enthusiastic thumbs down.

My 15 yr old Royal died so I ran out and got this. I don't own a pet, but I wanted a good machine, and this is by far the best vac I ever used. One of my peeves is sock lint in the bedroom, and this gets every speck up even if it's been ground in for a couple of weeks. I haven't seen my carpets this clean in years. As soon as I got it home I cleaned my entire one bed apartment and completely filled the dirt canister! Excellent suction, great useful tools, and dirt canister & everything disassembles to rinse out - even the extra tools come apart for cleaning. Can't understand why anyone would pay 2X or 3X the price for a vaccuum, this one does it all. Very pleased.

Rolling feature doesn't turn off so it won't vacuum shaggy rugs. My cord kept getting damaged by the suction of the vacuum..never had this problem in a vacuum before. It's so light beware it will easily fall over when you use the vacuum hose even if you are right next to the vacuum... so watch out that it doesn't fall on your small kids or even yourself. And now this one confuses me but somehow the turn on pedal managed to break off but can still be turned on if I squeeze my finger on the switch. The worst vacuum. Had for less than a year.. maybe 6 months.

I have had Dyson's for over 20 years. I bought this Bissell for my daughter and wanted to cut back on cost. She has used it for six weeks and says it cleans well enough but doesn't have the suction of a Dyson. The ball is awful and would never want another vacuum with it. Fine for now as long as it doesn't cause problems which from most of the reviews seems like we have in our future.

Bought this because our old ball dyson vacuum is being used to clean kitty litter. Didn't want to contaminate the rest of the house with it so wanted something cheaper than a dyson but still nice. Saw this one and decided to give it a try and I'm really happy with it. Not too heavy. The swivel is very nice and moves smoothly. Reminds me of my Dyson, just a lot cheaper in price. Really happy with the purchase.
