I upgraded my kids from the smaller kids version to this one and I’m happy i did. The lunch box is deeper to allow for more food but still fits nicely in an ice pack lunch box. The adjustable divider is such a nice feature and allows for so much more flexibility.

These are my absolute favorite lunch boxes! I get so many positive comments about my lunch box at work. It’s everything you need to eat a multiple component meal away from home and keep everything fresh and separate. This company has great customer service too!

I bought two modern bento lunch boxes, one for my daughter and one for my son. My daughter's lunch box broke almost a month after we got it, and my son's broke 3 months after we got it. I'm extremely disappointed because since my kids were toddlers we have been getting betgo brand lunch boxes and they have been durable and good quality, unfortunately for this specific model is not the case since both broke from the hinges.

My daughter picked one of these out for the new school year. It was on the pricier side, but it was a great match for her lunchbox and I love not having to send 3-4 different containers every day. After trying it out, we ended up buying a second one for my other daughter! The outside is metal so it's heavier but super sturdy, and it keeps all items in their individual compartments with no leaking to other sections. I love the removable divider on the left. This lunch box helps me send the appropriate portions every day and then the plastic insert goes in the dishwasher every night. We love them!

I was given my lunch box as a gift and I absolutely love it. I use mine for both cold and warm meals, the tray easily pulls out for the microwave. I like its adjustable compartment and its sleek look. I lost the adjustable compartment piece but Bentgo is helping me out!

Love these lunch boxes! We’ve been purchasing these since my oldest daughter was in kindergarten (she’s in 5th grade now). They’re super convenient and keep food items separate and fresh. My only wish is that the company would sell replacement divider inserts for the lunch boxes. The dividers fit snug in the older model boxes but are looser in the newer boxes so within the first couple days of sending them to school with my daughters, the dividers were lost in the trash when they dumped out leftover food. I contacted customer service to inquire about replacement dividers but, unfortunately, they do not sell them individually. However, customer service was very helpful and offered to send one-time replacement lunchboxes for the inconvenience. Very happy with the level of support and resolution I’ve received.

Got two of the modern bento boxes for my kids (9&10) to use for school. We have tried so many different styles of bento boxes over the years and have also done the traditional lunchbox/sandwich bag set up. This has by far been our favorite bento box we have used thus far. Removable insert makes it super simple to clean. I love that it doesn’t have 10 thousand tiny parts. It keeps food separated for the most part outside of anything with excessive liquid that may seep between the seal. Overall happy with it and most of all we love the size!

My son, absolutely loves his lunchbox. He started Nursery school in September and he’s been using it almost daily. One of the best investments we’ve made! I love the fact that it seals tightly and has multiple compartments in order to really separate his food.

We purchased two of the modern lunch boxes to replace a couple well-worn models that had each been used for several years. We really like the increased capacity on these and the ease of cleaning with the removable tray. The hinge on one of the two broke but getting a replacement through customer service was super easy.
