I'm a big fan of function and design. These have both. I love the size of each compartment for my kids (3yo and 1yo). They both eat a hardy meal at their daycare - AM snack, Lunch, and PM snack. We're able to fit one of their snack time meals and lunches. I serve a lot of hot food plus fresh fruit or veggies, so it's important to me that a container is leak-proof and can keep food separate in one go. Most of all, I love the design. My 3 year old LOVES it and this it's very cool.

I bought this for my daughters in August. We noticed that one of the boxes had a hard time closing. It seemed like the insert was too big for the box, although with a little pressure it would close. 3 months of use and the prong that acts like a hinge broke off. I contacted Bentgo with images of the defect. Although I no longer had proof of purchase they offered to send me a new one to replace the broken one. I'm guessing we had a random manufacture flaw in the one box. My other daughters bentgo box closes smoothly and has had no issues so far. They're easy to clean and unless you put something runny like yogurt in them, the compartments won't leak into each other.

I received a Bentgo lunch box for Christmas and I absolutely love it! It doesn’t look like it holds much, but the portion of meat and sides I put it is PLENTY to keep me fulfilled at lunch at work! I love the fact that you can take the inner container to warm up in a microwave. It also seals the foods inside (even liquids, like a soup) very well. I’m so happy with my Bentgo!!!!

I recently bought the Bentgo modern life lunchbox #2. I love it but have lost the plastic divider that fits in the main section, I think it accidentally went in the bin! It would be great if I could purchase a new divider, but they are not available for purchase. Without the divider, the wrap/small sandwich moves in the large section and falls apart

We have three bentgo lunchboxes and have been happy with them. We have two in this model and a kids one. I’ve emailed warranty twice and they’ve helped both times. The first time i had lost a divider and asked if I could buy one but they sent me one free! They’re quick and responsive and stand behind their product.

I bought one in September and one in October. The one I bought in October had an issue where the hinges snapped off. Bentgo has been responsive in offering a replacement and generously accommodated me since I no longer had my receipt and offered a replacement in exchange for a review. I suggest hanging onto your receipts until Bentgo upgrades the hinges as I can see this is currently a common issue. Overall my kids love their Bentgos and are having fun packing their own lunches I’m considering getting one for myself.

I really like the size of the internal compartments. I also like the overall size of the box, which is easy to place in my daughter’s backpack. Definitely not bulky like other lunch boxes/bags that we’ve used in the past. Lastly, I reached out to customer service and found them to be incredibly responsive.

I ordered this for my 12-year-old son who needed something more grown up for school lunches. He absolutely loves it and is happy to have healthy lunchables like his younger brother. Mom is happy that he has a nutritious lunch and this box keeps everything so fresh!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed this bento lunch box. It’s very well made and durable and easy to fit in the fridge. I did need to carry flatware separately, which I don’t need to do with my usual lunchbox. I like that the inside section can be completely removed to heat food and for washing, The outside gets covered in fingerprints and looks dirty very easily. My daughter asked for a bentgo lunch box for a long time after she saw videos of others using the product. We have tried many brands and products but they were poorly made, leaked, were sizes that did not work in reality, so I was hesitant to add more to the graveyard of bad products. She now has the modern lunch box, the snack container, and the classic stackable, and used them all year long to pack her own lunches. They are sturdy and don’t leak. Having her excitedly pack her own lunch is the best part. Also, customer service is very responsive and helpful (we lost a part!)
