Really great tablet, long battery life, works smoothly. Mom uses it for notetaking and watching videos. she can't part with it now. I got the 32 GB for my mom but at the time i didn't know i couldnt put an SD card in it, so i'd recommend going for the 100GB or buying some extra space on the cloud. but my mom doesn't really use the 100GB of space, so i thought it would pointless and a waste. Either way its a great Ipad, and not so big that its uncomfortable either. great for note taking at school, church whatever. not the best camera though. this is not an iphone lol

I got my daughter an iPad Air 2 like 4 years ago. If you compare the specs between that and this model, the only real difference is this has better and faster hardware, more storage, and the battery is a little bit better. It has basically the same screen and the same bad camera by 2020 standards. Pretty much everything else is the same too. The price isn't unreasonable. She likes how big the screen is, it's similar in size to the original iPad. Having more storage is good too since 16 GB leaves literally almost no storage on the older models. I read the review about someone getting their iPad in a box without any packing. I didn't experience that, but still, in my experience, people have no clue how to pack to protect items during shipment. Shippers don't care at all about your package, so the person packing it needs to take care. Sure, mine had some air packs in it, and my iPad was in perfect condition when it arrived. But what I would like to see is packing on all sides of the item, especially if it's sensitive electronics. Usually they toss them in the bottom of a box and pack it in. What do you think happens when the box gets tossed on its side? The item inside takes all the shock if it lands on the surface its sitting on. So packing could have been better. For the price you really can't go wrong if you want a newer iPad. The higher end models are far too expensive, more than double this model. This has good enough hardware to play most of the latest games and should be able to keep up for a few years at at least. The days of iPads and iPhones going obsolete every other year are over, since the hardware has finally started to get decent.

I dont know why there is so much hate out there regarding this new had 8th generation?! I LOVE mine! I had the iAd 6th generation previously. I can tell and I love the newest upgrades from my old 6. The nest include....exceptional software with long support, great battery life, colorful and clear display, connects to robust Apple ecosystem... With the positive come the negative- they include in my opinion the 32GB of base storage that just isn't enough. The single tinny speaker, and the fact that it still has lightning, not USB-C! With all of that being said, the 10.2-inch display is a step up from the 6, but a step down from the iPad Air, though not in its 2160 x 1620 resolution, which produces the same density as the Air. However, you will notice this isnt a laminated display. Theres a visible gap between the screen and the glass covering it, which is different from the iPad Air, iPad Pro, and every modern smartphone. Despite this shortcoming, the screens colors and clarity are SUPERB, and you only see the gap at certain viewing angles. Peak brightness is quoted at 500 nits, which is plenty although outdoors, I have the brightness constantly pegged at 100%. The lack of lamination can cause issues outside, with more reflection in daylight than most tablets. I hope this helps.... if youre on the fence , DO IT! I havent regretted my purchase whatsoever!

I got this item and it did not come with the correct wire for the charger. I was going to keep it and just use my phone charger, but then when I turned it on the screen was glitching so I had to return the product. I would not purchase this from Walmart because it comes from a third party again.

The charger doesn't work that well. It gets real hot and have to turn it off. Looks like the charger doesn't work very well. Can you send me a new charger

Great iPad for multipurpose use. But I would recommend 128 GB because 32 GB is not enough for anyone. On top of all great price and delivery by Walmart.

Was shipped quickly and safely, brand new I-Pad! I even ordered the incorrect one at forts (used I pad) then had to reverse the charges and Walmart reversed the transaction quickly and then I was able to order this one al in about 15 min!

No one could get this iPad to work not even a girl at Apple. Appearances finally were this iPad was already a send back but got in the wrong place and sold as new and wasn't.

Love the new larger ipad 8th generation. My old one is getting slow. Also, real easy transferring apps, photos, music, etc from old one to this one.
