I had not been charged for my mattress for over a month, I called Stearn and Foster tried to get past the automated attendant, but it kept saying to re-phrase my question. Tracking your order is a joke, there are no details. Managment needs to make some customer-oriented changes. When you spend more money you expect better service.

After 3 back surgeries and continuing back problems for many years, I had accepted waking every morning with back pain. And then I slept on a Stearns and Foster luxe mattress while visiting a family member . For the first time, I awoke with NO back pain. I couldn't believe it! In the end, after talking directly with a company representative, I ordered the higher reserve model, and I'm glad I did. This bed has been exceptional since it arrived. I tried other well known mattresses for years, that required special sheets, and had bulky platforms. None of them even come close to this magnificent bed. The platform is compact, and any deep pocket sheet fits perfectly. Iis expensive, but worth every penny. Given how much of our lives are spent sleeping, it is an investment in your health that is well worth making. I awake refreshed and ready for the day. Finally, when we got this Stearns Foster mattress, we found our match. I read reviews each time I bought each mattress. Not sure what to say except the first two - which were also not inexpensive - were just not comfortable. They were so uncomfortable that I was roaming from one bed to the couch and back. When we got this Stearns and Foster bed, I stopped roaming and slept through the night without aching in the morning. I wish we would have bought this first, but at least I'm glad we kept looking instead of giving up. We bought this hybrid, medium mattress with the base and I don't think we'll ever buy another brand now that we've found a comfortable bed. We'll worth the cost. Five stars.

The buttons on the surface are an odd choice, as you can sometimes feel them (and it's not always comfortable). It doesn't seem quite as soft as a previously available model (ultra plush Cassatt), but is great overall.

Mattress is only so-so, MEDIUM is too soft. But what really gets me is the FRAUD we experienced with the $300 Visa Card that we did not receive that was supposed to be included with the purchase. We've been S & F customers for over 25 years and will never buy their products again.

Because I am a side sleeper and have shoulder problems, I went to local retail mattress providers to test various products. Hands down, the best mattress for me is the Stearns and Foster Lux Hybrid-firm. I love my mattress, no shoulder pain and I highly recommend this mattress. Don't let the firm mislead you, try it out. This mattress provide the perfect level of support in firmness and comfort.

Obviously this is the priciest mattress I've ever had, but at my age it is no time to skimp on sleep comfort. So far so good, hopefully it will last a good long time. No complaints.
