The queen size mattress sags on both sides, large hump in the middle. Advice : sleep in the middle. SERIOUSLY. it is uncomfortable to sleep anywhere on the mattress. We bought this mattress because we were told it was the "best". it is not the best. Buyer beware.

Bought a sterns and foster king estate at mattress firm ..within 3 months mattress was badly sagging..very dissapointed with this purchase..sterns and foster has gone way down in quality..owned one 20 yrs ago and it was fabulous..10 year warranty is a joke..they will not stand by it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given the opportunity to receive a free Estate soft tight top mattress from Stearns & Foster to try and give my honest opinion. I must say that it came at the right time. I'm currently recovering from surgery and waited until it was safe enough for me to switch out my old mattress with this one. As soon as I laid down, I knew that would be the first night I got a decent amount of sleep since coming home after my procedure. With my old mattress, I was constantly trying to turn over due to the springs being extremely uncomfortable which wasn't a good idea for someone who was in pain. I love the Fleur de Lis design on the mattress since it's a symbol that represents my home state. I really like how my body "sinks" into the bed especially after a long day BUT I do wonder if it will hold up after some time has passed. This concern could simply be due to the mattresses that I'm use to so I will definitely pay attention to it. If I had to choose a different type from this company, I would go for the Lux Estate Medium because of the added materials which are perfect for people like me who could really use the cooling cover and Tempur-Indulge Memory Foam. For the price, I would've never been able to purchase it myself, but I would certainly recommend it to people who can afford it. The mattress was good, but we wanted something firmer. It was just not for us.

It is shame that new mattress should have 1.5"+ "imperfection" to be considered defective.

This is our second Sterns and Foster. We were pleased with the first one, which lasted a long time. Naturally, we wanted another. So far, it's very comfortable and firm, which is what we wanted. We're happy.
