First mattress we kept four years, way too long. It was like sleeping in a trench at both sides, where we normally sleep. We got a new pillow top mattress which reportedly has springs in the pillow top. Within two months we already were in trenches. It was uncomfortable because you had to roll uphill to go towards the center or edges of the mattress.

Our mattress is very comfortable. I am a heavy person and read all the reviews I could find and did some research on this particular model. I found that this worked best for both me and my wife; average weight around 130 lbs. Sterns and Foster has a good reputation and builds quality mattresses. They also have a great financing plan. We've had this mattress for 2 weeks, so far, so good. We've been sleeping much better and no aches and pains upon waking. We believe the pillow top is key. After looking at and testing several mattresses, we are happy with this purchase.
