Document feeder not as smooth as I thought it would be. It will grab multiple pages at times and will jam up. It does shred the paper very well when it is working properly.

Well worth the cost. Machine is quiet and fast. Love both the shredder tray and manuel tray. The only draw back is you have to remove staples. Other than that great machine.

When I shopped around for an auto feed shredder, they were all 3-5 times more expensive than this one. I love this shredder. It works extremely well. I'm also pleased with the security of the microcut.

If you put more than 10 pages in the feed tray it freaks out a little, but the shred is amazing and I can fill three bins full before it starts to get warm. I've yet to overheat it, but figure four bins may get there.

Noisy, you must remove the metal clips if there are two pages or more together, can't shred credit cards, can't shred cd's. The sam's club brand one it's better

I’m very satisfied with this purchased. I bought this HP shredder to replace a royal shredder. I was worried I wouldn’t find a qualified replacement until I found this one. I can’t review the auto fed feature because I haven’t tried it yet. The auto feed feature can only be used for 8 minutes per hour. I figure I can shred a lot more paper using the manual feed. The overheat light will guide me on to when to stop anyways.

Auto feed is really convenient, shreds to the smallest pieces I’ve ever seen, bin fills evenly rather than gathering in one spot and love that it shuts off when bin is full. Definitely worth the investment. One thing to be aware, staples have to be removed so it can auto feed.

Not too big, not too small and it's a powerhouse. Nice two tone colors and an easy removable basket makes this machine a pleasant addition to any home office or any place a convenient size shredder is needed. The wheels are a plus as well. Get one before they're all gone.

I bought this unit to deal with all the important papers that needed to be shredded after my dad died. this thing makes it all so very easy to deal with. we put the papers in bundles & just let the doc feeder do the rest. nothing has been as easy as this!!!

So far so good. I bought this because I don't have to hand feed individual or several sheets at a time. I just put the sheets in the top receptacle until it has sufficient stack of paper to shred. Then I turn on the machine and it auto feeds. I will update in about 9-12 months that is when most electronics show their problems.
