[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the same old sheets for a long time now, so I was really excited to try this Color Sense sheet set instead. First of all, the elastic corners on the fitted sheet is a wide band that easily stretches around the mattress and stays securely in place, and the ruches at these corners also help it fit securely, plus they look elegant. No more struggling with a flimsy fitted sheet that just won’t stay in place! Every piece in this set feels wonderfully made and looks beautiful, and they are so cozy to sleep with. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Color Sense 1200 Thread Count Cotton Rich Sateen Sheet Set is really well constructed. The stitching is even. There were no loose threads to be found anywhere. The fabric is softer than I had expected and I like that it has a bit of sheen. I really appreciate the True Grip technology that features a wide band of elastic to keep the bottom sheet in place. The pockets are deep enough to fit over my mattress along with a 3" memory foam pad and a thick, padded mattress cover. These sheets claim to be wrinkle resistant which is true if removed promptly from the dryer, however they are not wrinkle free. I had to wash them before putting them on the bed because of the deep creases they had when I removed them from the packaging. They dried quickly with my dryer set on low heat and the deep creases were gone, however there were smaller wrinkles in the fabric that are noticeable. Most of the wrinkles in the sheets smoothed out when I made the bed, but the smaller wrinkles on the pillow cases were still evident. Most importantly, they are soft against my skin and allowed for a good night's sleep.
