I bought this Dash waffle stick maker specifically to make tiny breakfast waffles for my grandchildren, age 3 and 1. The waffle sticks are easy for them to hold and dip in syrup! The maker works quickly and it's super easy to use.

My daughter loves it when I put them in a coffee mug with some syrup at the bottom so she can just dip and go! Love this for kids (big and small) so much!

And thanks to this thing, you can take those waffles anywhere you go. I honestly could pack this thing into my suitcase to take on vacation. And I might try that. I am doing KETO. There are hundreds of waffle recipes on the net. Most of them use the Dash Mini. I have one of those too, but the full size waffle stick maker gives you a full size serving so you feel like you are eating a regular meal serving. I make churro and chocolate sticks for deserts to serve with home made ice cream. The many Dash makers allow me to offer normal fun, not diet food, creative food for my picky family

When trying to clear it out from work area, it is too hot to move safely, adding something to help with that might be a good idea.

This maker is meant to make waffle sticks, so that is only what I will rate it on. It makes the sticks, but they’re steamed and thus do not get crispy at all. Hot steam comes out of the handle, so I had to use a Hot pad to open it. It makes edible waffle sticks, it’s compact and doesn’t take up very much room at all- and it’s affordable: those are the pluses. It does not cook eggs well, and I have yet to do brownie bites. As with any waffle maker, kindof a pain to clean since you can’t submerge it. The nonstick coating works well and the smell when you first use it lets you know you’ll likely be getting cancer sooner than later. The smell goes away after the first batch.
