I have the options of using traditional "timed" setting, or choosing a dry setting based on the type of load I need to try. I also love the refresh and steam options that make your clothes fresh. Being able to controll my dryer from my phone is a bonus!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dryer is quick and very efficient at getting my clothes and bedding items dry. I have had to adjust the dry setting up or down based on my items, but I like that I can do this from the machine or from the Smart Things app. I really like that this has numerous settings and even more I can download through the app. One of my favorite features is the wrinkle prevention option and the app alert when a cycle is finished so I am able to remove my clothes and prevent wrinkles in a timely manner. This is really great when I'm not near my dryer to hear the chime go off. This dryer works well, the only thing I don't like is the lint trap, there are these little pegs that stick out that always catch my hand and rings.

This machine has problems with the drum, mines spins so recklessly it cracked the drum on the inside and Samsung is soooo great that the won't fix it without a $140 inspection fee on top of the cost of product and labor for getting it fixed. So 0/100 DONT RECOMMEND

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this dryer! It arrived at the perfect time as I had a bunch of laundry I needed to do including my bedding and 3 blankets for the dogs. I did 3 loads of laundry - 1 for my bedding, 1 for the dogs bedding and 1 for clothes. This would usually take me AT LEAST 5 separate loads but this dryer had so much extra space. Not only that but despite drying several thick items it was able to dry faster and in one run. I'm used to drying them separately and multiple times! I've used about 2 of the 21 dry cycles, and I also downloaded the Eco Normal cycle onto it. Speaking of the app - setting it up was a complete breeze. I've used SmartThings extensively before but this was by far the easiest. After installing and running a test load I was prompted on my phone to connect to the dryer. The best part is I was all the way up stairs and it still connected. When I went downstairs to check on it I was able to easily scan the QR code to finish the setup. I wasn't entirely sure how I felt about the wifi feature but after spending the day using it I love being able to check on the status or get the remaining time. This is even more true because the dryer is just *so* quiet that I can't tell if it's running from anywhere else in the house. Now I just get a notification on my phone that it's done and I know to go down there. While we're on the topic of the app, there was only one downside that I have found with the dryer and the app so far - I would love to be able to create my own custom preset that I could download to the dryer. For example I typically dry my clothes on "Normal" but with low temperature. The dryer by default uses hot temperature. which isn't a big deal to change. However if I could just create a new preset on the app and download it to the dryer that would be absolutely amazing and I do feel like this is a missed opportunity. For the time being though I have used the "Time Dry" option with a lower temperature and just set the time I'd like it to run for. However there is just so much to love here. The huge capacity and nearly silent operation are almost mind blowing. I also love that as I'm changing settings on the control panel that it shows me exactly how long it will be running for. Attached is a not-so-great photo of my current setup. I have a shelf above the units that will either need to be raised or re-located as these are slightly taller than my old ones. So for the time being they're sticking out further than necessary in order to use.

I also love that it drys your clothes quickly and most importantly quietly. You can also use the smart things app. I highly recommend this dryer, you'll be happy once you give it a try.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After replacing an older dryer with this one, I have been very pleased. The dryer works great on sensor dry and is pretty quiet while it is running. It has a large capacity, so can hold all of the laundry that I am able to wash in the matching washer. A couple of other features that I love are light which my older dryer didn't have and the lint filter indicator. Overall, a very nice dryer. I have a Samsung phone, so already had the Smart-Things app, but connecting to the dryer was quick and easy. It is nice to be able to see where you are at in the drying cycle without walking out to the laundry room!

I did not know a dryer could do that .This dyer is an awesome upgrade at a reasonable price.You can use the SmartThings app to control the dryer . I’m always waiting around for laundry to finish up! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Samsung 7100 series dryer is very impressive. It has an extra large tub that has helped up reduce the amount of loads of laundry with our large family. The button layout is easy to understand, and the cycles are very easy to navigate. I like the door design because it can be set to open from the left or the right side. I really like the design of the lint trap. It's very efficient and will help prevent a lot of lint from getting into your dryer vent. This dryer has a steam/sanitize function that we have used several times already. It is especially useful for refreshing your clothes when you forget to get them out after the cycle is done. We intentionally left a load of scrubs and dress shirts in the dryer overnight and then the next day used the "Refresh" steam cycle and it took the wrinkles out of the clothes with ease. The smart things app was a breeze to setup and get running. There is a QR code that you can scan on the front of the dryer and it takes less than a minute to get working. The app tells you how much time is left on your cycle and has lot of helpful information like "Dry Recipe" which will help you pick a dry cycle depending on what clothes you are wanting to dry. The only critique I can find on the dryer is that the top is slanted and not flat. I guess the bright side is you won't have your dryer become a magnet for everything that comes into your house. Overall, I am thoroughly impressed with the dryer and have run it through about every cycle and option, and it has succeeded with flying colors. I am very happy with the purchase and would purchase it again.

All the programs we have tested are effective, efficient and doing what they are supposed to be doing. I tried the app and controlling the washer from the app, and that has been nice. I can make some changes or turn the washer on without going downstairs to the laundry room. Convenient. 2. Appearance. The washer looks nice in the laundry room. It is tall, which I love as I am tall myself. Love the rounded edges and clear lid. 3. Capacity. I have washed three sets of bedding sheets, and they all fit easily into the washer. No complaints here. 4. Savings. It saves water, energy and time for my family. Highly recommended.

An app to notify my "tenant" that their clothes are dry so they aren't sitting in there getting wrinkled or holding up the process. Holds a ton of clothes and dries pretty evenly. Still learning all of the settings. Happy!
