We had a 22kwh unit installed this fall (2016) and everything went smooth. The contractors were great and we were able to qualify for the extended warranty (10 years.) One evening recently our power went out. I counted to about 15 and then heard the generator start. In another few seconds, the generator panel switched over to light up our house again. Perfect! We will be having the factory authorized installer out every fall to service the unit. I could not be happier with our decision to purchase this Generac unit.

I had a 22KW guardian installed with two 150 KW transfer switches. During the hurricane last year we lost power for 18 hours and the generator powered my entire house perfectly. It runs two 4 ton heat pumps and the house power without a problem. Great unit at a great price.

Our new generator is a comforting sight and adds a level of security knowing our home will stay warm and comfortable regardless of weather and severe storms. We occasionally travel for business and have to leave our pets home for the duration. Knowing our home will never be without power and heat during the winter months is a huge relief. We live in a heavily tree lined region in upstate New York that experiences above average power outages due to high winds and severe weather. This generator is well worth the money. Bill M.

I purchased my generator when I built my new home. When we were moving in the beginning of August we had a power outage the 2nd night for over nine hours. Good Morning I have installed several of these type generators over a few years as an electrician. In that process I have seen several changes to your product all to make it better and easier to install and maintain. This is the first I have installed for myself and the way the connections are maid with the front of the generator opening and the cables to the breaker is the best I have seen and love it. I just received a 30 KW for a customer and will install it a month or two when the house is finished and expect it to be a great product as well. Have been wanting a generator as I have well water and live in a cold climate. Unbelievably, we had a power outage for 2-3 hours just a few hours after installation was completed on the day before a holiday! Switches over without a blink. Great service from my installing electrician, and extended warranty to boot. Couldn't be happier, and so relieved to no longer have to worry about weather!

Several of my friends have one and has never let them down. It has now given me peace of mind when I leave the house as I have a sump pump in the basement and with the new building code,, all the water goes there. They only drawback is the installation cost. Can't see how it cost almost as much as the generator and it takes them only 3 hours to install.

I have had my 22kw natural gas Generac for less than a year. It kept my house fully powered for approximately 12 straight hours during the recent Matthew hurricane. It has also lighted the way on two other recent power outages. And I can always depend on it doing it's weekly self test. Very pleased in Jacksonville, Fl.

We installed a 22 KW machine as a backup for our entire house. Our home is served via an 8000V electric primary cable which is direct buried from the source to transformer. We are radial fed, which means there is no backup cable that can be used to provide power should the UG cable fail. This generator will put power back to our entire home while the Power Company repairs the cable. We live at the top of a bluff in NE Iowa, and should the cable fault, it would be hard to repair the cable in a short time. Haven't had an extended outage yet, but, there will be one and when it hits, that generator is there to perform. Love It!

I live in an area where our power goes out at least once a month. To know that we do not have to worry about that anymore is awesome. The installer we had that was qualified to install by Generac was very knowledgeable and informative. He let us know what he was doing throughout the entire insolation process. After the install he went over everything very thurally and insured us that if we need anything to call him! Great job Generac!
