We have not had to use our Generac system yet, but just having the peace of mind knowing it is there is worth it. We have 4 month old twins and live outside of town. If we lose power due to an ice storm it could be days or even weeks before we regain power. Knowing we will have it available as soon as our power goes it is priceless!

We have a farm an when power goes out we have nothing! not even a tractor generator, so when we lose power its not good. now that we have a Generac generator we don't have to worry anymore. thank you Steve we love our Generac. An we have already had to use it!

Good Morning I have installed several of these type generators over a few years as an electrician. In that process I have seen several changes to your product all to make it better and easier to install and maintain. This is the first I have installed for myself and the way the connections are maid with the front of the generator opening and the cables to the breaker is the best I have seen and love it. I just received a 30 KW for a customer and will install it a month or two when the house is finished and expect it to be a great product as well. Keep up the good work and as always I will push the Generac Name with all the houses I wire. Again Thank You

Installed fairly easily, used an electrician to connect wiring. Ran well in test. Runs every 2 weeks in automatic mode. After reading past reviews, hope it holds up for a while. Came with 49 hours on the meter, now has 51 hours on meter. Guess we'll see.

Went through through hurricane Matthew in Fort Pierce Fl power went out when the wind's got to around 60 mph, We were without power for almost 4 day's. The Generac cane on did it's job without a hitch. The gas company came on day 6 and filled my tank it is a 250 gal and it only took 50 gal of propane i was surprised, I should have done it sooner, my big gas one would have taken way more good job Gererac. Customer for life.

The generator is top quality and is allowing my hundred year old mother to remain in her home with only part time caregiver service. She would be too nervous about power outages to live alone without it. We have confidence in your product. A neighbor has agreed to shovel around the generator if there is more than 8 inches of snow so it can work. It is worth the expense. Installation by one of your certified installers is important too.

We had a few problems getting the propane set up properly. The technician did a great job on the installation and setup of the generator. Once the propane issue was corrected, the test went great and it responds to a power loss immediately. It works great. Very pleased with all aspects of Generac.

I purchased the first unit for our home and a second unit for our cottage, about a month later. The units are performing great, they are currently set to cycle on for 5 minutes once per week. Had one very short power loss at our house and the generator did its job. It started within seconds of the power loss and shut down promptly after the power was restored. I am very satisfied with the design of the unit and the installer did a great job!

I upgraded to the 22K size to do my whole house. The smaller sizes would only do part of the house but the price difference wasn't too big. Overall, I do feel the price was too high but part of the reason is the installer had to come from the big city to my small mountain community. In less than a year since installation there have been several power outages, some lasting many hours. The unit has worked flawlessly and my whole house runs normally, with only a 30-second delay while the generator turns itself on automatically. My only complaint is the remote monitoring offered by Generac, at quite a high price. It doesn't have enough features or control capabilities, and I couldn't find a 3rd party monitoring solution that would work better without spending many more hundreds of dollars. I would reluctantly pay the Generac high price for monitoring if their system had better functionality. Now i no longer dread the inevitable power outages and I would recommend the 22K Generac.

Have wanted one for a long time. We lose power often due to weather and we have a high water table in most years. We have two sump pumps to handle the drainage in the basement, and our basement was partially finished. The last time we did not notice the power went off and woke up to 18" in our basement, ruining everything including drywall that had to removed 24" from the bottom. We had our Generac installed in October, and it has already responded in a power outage. Feel safer with it.
