I have a 130 pound, long haired, German Shepard. The noise from the machine is no big deal. He ignored it entirely. I would recommend brushing dogs with a thick undercoat before using. His hair is so thick (shedding season) the water barely made it to his skin. His hair gets nice and clean and it is pretty quick. Your dog will be wet, just not sopping wet. Love it. A million times easier than bathing.

I wish the Bissell website would of pointed out that there is a newer quieter model available. I guess the just wanted to get rid of the old ones. I do love bissell, but this one does not score high with me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love this system so much! It does a pretty good job. The hose is long enough to keep the system out of sight for my three fur babies. It is easy to use and clean. The different nozzle heads are great for the different fur coats each fur baby has. They sit so nicely because they think i am brushing them. HEHE Would recommend this to anyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A great product. A bit loud but same as all other cleaners. My dog did not mind it. Works well with little mess and only 1 towel needed to dry the dog afterwards instead of the 4 or 5 with a normal shower.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had high hopes, unfortunately the Barkbath did not work for us. There wasn't enough pressure to get through the hair, nor enough suction. I do have dogs with long thick hair so maybe it will work better for less coated dogs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great on a Belgium Malinosis that pretty much hates bath or water in general. Easy to use and since he doesn't mind vacuum cleaners , he didn't mind the sound either. he acutely seems to like it.

I love that it's portable, and a lot less messier than using a water hose and doggie tub! I have used it twice on two small dogs. I'm giving it 4 stars because when I press the button to bathe or rinse, the head leaks water and makes somewhat of a mess. Other than that, it was worth it!

Great device...you should have seen the dirty water that was vacumed off of my dogs. However, I have 2 large Cane Corsos and it took refilling the water container 3 times per dog. I am glad I purchased it but wish there was a larger model for BIG DOGS!

I gave it a try, did not work exactly as I thought it would. I came to the conclusion that it would be much easier to give my little dog a bath in the sink. This product might be a good investment and work on a much bigger dog. As for my thoughts , sending it back for a credit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It did not work for me. It made more of a mess for me than just giving my dog a regular bath. It did not suck up the water like I thought it was supposed to. Maybe it is meant for bigger dogs rather then smaller dogs.
