This bed is a lifesaver! We were worried about purchasing a bed online and with the pandemic, not able to go to a store a lay on it, gave me anxiety. After many months of researching we finally decided on the Tempur-ProAdapt Firm. Purchasing online was easy and customer service was great with all our questions about delivery protocol. When they delivered they wore masks, gloves and booties! Took our old mattress away and all the packaging! The first night was the best sleep I have had in years! The bed is cool, firm and contouring. Firm but not too firm. I was having a ton of lower back/hip pains with our old bed. We have had our Tempur-ProAdapt bed for two months now and I am still getting restful pain free sleep.

I had just been recovering from a GI viral infection, and had my bed up on stilts in the back to stay elevated during sleep. I was sliding down my bed and it was incredibly uncomfortable. We were looking for a great high end adjustable mattress and bed frame for our existing very nice Restoration Hardware bed frame which we absolutely did not want to switch. Not only did the ProAdapt Cal-King we bought fit perfectly, it was way more comfortable that our previous mattress and the Ergo-Extend frame that we got with it converted our bed from really very good completely awesome. Bed on stilts, and sliding down the bed at night was a thing of the past. The memory foam is really very cool during sleep - not sure how that works exactly but it seems like it has to do with the way the outside of the mattress is textured as well as the type of material used on the surface. However it works, it seems to work quite well. The fitted sheets stay in place which was a concern (with an adjustable bed) but ended up working out fine. Just completely 100% happy with how this bed. Was very worried the frames would not fit, or the quality would be less than promised, but both the mattresses and the adjustable frames were absolutely rock solid, well constructed and amazingly top notch. The only issue we had was that well known fresh "memory foam" hot out of the factory oder that the mattresses have for the first 30-40 days. They promised it would go away after a little bit.. and I can report that yes it actually did. All and all I'd say money well spent.

My back pain was horrible all day. My new tempurpedic bed is Wonderful! After a few weeks my back pain is normal (minimal) and I sleep all night long. I love my bed and look forward to climbing in each night.

It served us well all these years and was still in excellent condition; however, I wanted a new one with increased firmness. I like firm mattresses, and after 13 years, I decided we deserved a new one, and it would be another Tempur-Pedic. When our new one arrived, we gave our old one to my wife's twin sister who lives with us. She too loves it as we did. A Tempur-Pedic mattress is an investment in your wellbeing; it pays a daily dividend of a good night's sleep.

I sleep better and longer. Plus, it doesn't move much when someone gets in and out of bed so you don't disturb the other person. Most surprising was that this mattress is lighter than the Sealy hybrid we had before. Definitely leveled-up my nights. I should probably also note that this mattress also gives a lot of support in ... other activities a couple will use a bed for. Very nice results.

My wife & I finally replaced our old, old sleep number mattress with the TEMPUR-ProAdapt Medium Hybrid. The coil-layer sounded like what we were looking to strike a balance between too firm and too soft and it was clearly the right choice. I used to wake up in pain due to misalignment, but not anymore! I could go on but you get the idea: it's worth the investment!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not so firm as expected around the perimeter as I'm constantly sliding off in the sitting position and it makes me feel very nervous when I'm lying down as I feel like I'm going to fall out of bed. I usually sleep close to the edge of the bed but I've had to sleep about a foot away from the edge to avoid falling about 4 or 5 feet through nightstands to the floor. I've contacted customer service and only got a request for pictures. Pictures of myself falling off the bed? Really? Not satisfied at all at this time.

I went to a mattressfirm and tried nearly every bed they had on the lot and decided to go with the ProdAdapt Medium-Hybrid and I am very happy after a month. I have seen others say that the bed needs to be walked on and such, but I thought the bed was perfect out of the box. I tend to start my night on my back and end up on my side, and what I love most about this bed is how comfortable sleeping on your side is. I did not get the controlled platform base (yet) but my expectations are that will make my experience even greater with this bed.

I learned a long time ago that you truly do 'get what you pay for' and, in this case, I absolutely have no regrets in paying for, and getting, a premium mattress that has helped us so much. My hip and shoulder pain were GONE after only a few nights. The motion transfer or disruption is just nonexistent (which I find great value in), and overall we just sleep soundly! I waited for far too many years to make this crucial investment for my physical health but also my mental as I sleep soundly now and wake up feeling way better. If this is in your budget, I can confidently say that it is highly unlikely you'd be anything but happy with your purchase. I tried almost literally a dozen other mattresses, trying to get to this quality, but now I know I should've started with a TempurPedic.
