Our mattress was approximately 15 years old. We always had a topper over the pillow top but as in previous comments, the back knows. Couldn't handle it anymore and since we had slept on a relative with no problem decided on a tempurpedic. We decided on the pro-adapt medium hybrid. Once the sales lady turned on the remotes we were hooked. Now every night we fall asleep vibrating and it is so sweet! Love the cooling pillows and ordered the 2 for 1 sheets not too happy with those. They wrinkle!

It was time for a new bed. We had a 12inch memory foam and it was super worn in. We went into the store with open minds on different types of beds. We tried out several different types but ultimately still preferred medium/ soft beds. We tried out the medium hybrid bed with the bed frame that vibrates and lifts the bottom and top mattress. Absolutely love it and I wish we got a new one sooner. Sleep ten times better on it. It's not to soft and not to firm. I have bad shoulders and I'm a side sleeper, not once so I wake up in pain. It's definitely worth every penny.

I am not one to post reviews but I also believe to give credit where credit is due. I didn't know what to think about spending this kind of money on a mattress but I can tell you I will never own a different brand. It literally is the best sleep and has helped my sever back pain. I give it 7 stars.

This mattress is comfortable and is almost firm enough for us. What brings it down from an A is we know that after 5-10 years this mattress that is already not firm enough will be even softer and uncomfortable. We were told this is the most firm mattress sold by Tempurpedic. :(

We purchased a King Tempur-ProAdapt in firm. After seven months, we wish we could undo this purchase. Our previous two mattresses were both firm, traditional independent coil. This would be our first memory foam mattress. Neither my wife nor I sleep consistently well on the Tempur-Pedic. This mattress chases you off it - I literally find myself getting out of bed in the morning because I can no longer stand the discomfort my body is feeling, specifically, pain through my pelvis and hip region as well as sore shoulders and numb arms. The hip and pelvis pain is with me continually and the sad part is I have learned to live with it. Recently, a second seven day vacation away from our Tempur-Pedic, I realized my hip/pelvis and shoulders stop hurting within a day or two. I spoke with Tempur-Pedic, but their response was to keep the room cool and to consider purchasing their mattress topper which would *maybe* help soften things up. I never stated this mattress is too firm, there is more to it than that. This mattress brought pain my mid-40's body has never felt. Read reviews and if you're having problems early on, react immediately, we're stuck with this thing now and we'll have to absorb a second mattress purchase in under a year. They claim their customer service is so great, why not try to help someone and send them a mattress topper after they just spent thousands on your product and are now afraid to use it.

Your 2022 mattress is much thinner than my previous 2012 mattress and not as heavy-so it's easier to make my bed. However, I find the new 2022 mattress does shift and must push it back into place on your adjustable bed frame. Also, your queen size mattress did have a petroleum like off gassing smell for almost 2 weeks, which I wasn't happy about. Since that smell is now gone, I love the mattress and fall asleep easily (sometimes too easily) on my new soft mattress as it's very comfortable. I also love the fact I do not have to download an App to use my wireless remote. Thank you for keeping it simple and easy to use! I also have your queen size pillow which I use under my legs for additional back support. All in all, I am a happy Tempurpedic customer.

We took a long time to decide on which mattress to purchase because we were disappointed in our previous 2 non-Tempurpedic beds. I really didn't think I wanted a Tempurpedic product - I was pretty set on a firm traditional bed. I have hip problems and believed that would give me the best support, but the assessment tool at our mattress store recommended a ProAdapt Soft. Since we weren't pleased with our previous decisions I decided to trust the science behind the assessment and I'm so glad we did!! From the very first night we have slept great and it turns out that this mattress DOES give me the support I need, and the comfort as well. We also got the adjustable base with a snore feature and we LOVE it! It really does work. We didn't realize it at the time, but the delivery guys didn't know how to set up the sensor so it took us about a week to get it situated, but now that we have it working correctly we couldn't be happier with our choice!

This is a replacement for an original Tempur mattress. Before purchasing this mattress we did a lot of trying other mattresses, on line research etc. Once we laid on this new Tempur we wondered why we even thought about a different brand. The adjustable base makes it even better Best sleep I've had in a year since having shoulder surgery

This is our second temper-pedic mattress. The first mattress we purchased several years ago is now used in our guest bedroom. For some unknown reason, we (wife and I) convinced our self to replace the master bed mattress with a competitors product (air mattress). We had purchased extra bed sheets and even though we never open the package the dealer would not give a reimbursement after 90 days. This was 3-years ago. Big mistake! We had enough sleepless nights and decided to revisit a temper-pedic dealer. Don't we swayed so take my advise and stick with what you know and trust. The temper-pedic pro-adapt hybrid mattress gives us a very comfortable sleep and a company that we have come to trust and appreciate. Brent & Loraine Lawyer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this mattress for my teenage daughter and it is the most comfortable mattress in the house. After receiving this mattress she started sleeping much better and longer. When we replace our mattress I would definitely buy this mattress for myself.
