I did not expect my new mattress to dramatically change my sleep. My old one had become saggy in the middle. I frequently woke up feeling uncomfortable, with a crooked neck or achy legs. I was shocked after my first night on my firm mattress. I didn't wake up in the night feeling uncomfortable. I didn't have to constantly readjust my position. I slept so much better I noticed I was having long, detailed dreams. That hadn't happened in a long time.

My wife and I were long overdue for a new mattress and as soon as we laid on a Tempur-Pedic we knew it was the one for us. The mattress checked all the boxes for us and in my opinion is dollar for dollar the best value on the market. It is comfortable, cooling, supportive and we both have experienced the best sleep in as long as we can remember. My wife is sleeping through the night which used to be the exception and she reports am no longer snoring or tossing and turning throughout the night. Without hesitation I recommend Tempur-Pedic products to anyone even thinking about a new mattress. The money spent is an investment in your own wellness and in that regard, this is a bargain!

I've had this new proadapt firm mattress for 3 weeks now. The first thing I noticed is that I fall asleep so fast. When I wake up, my back feels wonderful. I've been suffering with extreme back pain for years and this mattress has been great with helping reduce it. AAA+++

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this bed out of necessity and did not get a chance to research it as much as I do with most major purchases. I had heard they were hot to sleep on and it took a long time to break in. I was reluctant to commit. The salesman assured us we would have 100 nights to sleep on it and decide if it was for us. We have loved it since the first night. It is not hot at all to sleep on. We did not have to break it in and we love the adjustable base we added to it. My favorite part is the massage setting. Overall we are very happy with the whole system and would buy it again.

This mattress is amazingly comfortable, we have only had it for about a month but we are sleeping like we never slept before. My husband always had a backache and his shoulders would hurt with our old mattress, now he wakes up pain free. I am getting a very restfull nights sleep.

I never knew sleep felt so good until my Tempur experience. Got a Split King with a ProAdapt Medium Hybrid and the ProAdapt Soft. Talking about the best of both worlds. Now all I want to do is sleep! I alternate sleeping on each and discovered that I like the hybrid better, but I wouldn't trade either for the world. Tremendous relief from my chronic back pain. Did I tell you about the Ergo Smart Base? A must-have for your Tempurpedic mattress. I got one with the SleepTracker. Amazing! No more bumping into things with the smart lighting. Unlimited adjustable positions, plus the presets. I haven't even started to use the massage. The daily sleep tracker reports is the icing on the cake. Didn't realize my sleep quality was that great. Bottom line, I will not sleep on anything else.

I have Back problems, osteoporosis arthritis in my hips and occasional bursitis in my shoulders. I am a side sleeper and needed a mattress that would work for my back problems, my hip problem and shoulder problem. A couple friends recommended a Tempurpedic mattress To me. I did a lot of research before buying trying to find a mattress that would work well for All my health issues. I certainly found it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We slept on an old, lightly used traditional guest room mattress for over 10 years that was given to us when we got married. This is a completely different and improved experience for us. I sleep on my back with wrist braces on and rarely turn side to side. I was having back pain each morning and would awaken early due to how uncomfortable the mattress was. We decided to finally bite the bullet and buy a new mattress. When shopping we came across many hybrids but when they told us that tempur-pedic was the brand recommended by doctors for people with back problems I was sold. Why not get the mattress I might need in the years to come anyway- its like wearing orthotics in your your shoes. We went for the hybrid model to have a little more structure to the mattress but got the more expensive version of the model we were looking at to get the few more inches of foam and I think it was worth it. Hopefully it may make our mattress comfortable for longer (that is our hope). I no longer wake up multiple times a night due to back pain or hearing the springs move and make noises when my husband tosses and turns. We both sleep much better. I no longer look forward to taking trips and having to sleep on a different mattress, because now I love mine and I know that nothing will match it when we travel. It's actually a great feeling to know that your best sleep is the sleep you have at home a majority of the time. I do recommend the 5'' bed base, the 9'' was too high and we would have needed a stool to get into bed. I really wanted a 7'' which is my one recommendation to temper-pedic but the 5'' feels natural for us when getting in and out of bed for people our height (5'6"-5'10"). We have had the mattress for 4-5 months now. We would definitely buy it again.

Well, our choice was Firm, and it is. It feels like a bench when you first sit on it, but in a few seconds you sink in just enough to be cradled. A perfect balance of 'no saggy spots' and 'no pressure on shoulders, hips, or knees. The other treat is that when either I or my wife get up (in the night) or first out of bed, the mattress does not move/jiggle. You don't know the other has gone - and you just keep sleeping. Our previous mattresses were top quality, but with springs. This one doesn't flex like that - which is great.

I bought the pro-adapt after trying several other mattresses over the past 3 years. I have arthritis and some fibromyalgia and have tried my best to use diet and exercise to manage it, but I was feeling worse and worse each morning. I was trying not to spend as much money but the mattress I purchased 3 yrs ago was a firm plush regular style and I knew after about a year that it wasn't working. I thought I'd get used to it....not! Finally decided I needed a new mattress and this time it would be super firm. I went and tried as many as I could and when I layed on the tempurpedic I didn't want to get up. I was encouraged to take 15-20 min to see if it was for me. I was also encouraged to get the medium but I was convinced I needed the firm. Unless you have back/bone issues that like the firm, I would definitely get the medium. I ended up getting a 3" tempurpedic topper until the mattress is fully broken in. I wake up with about 85-90% less pain and stiffness! I'd definitely recommend if you have any pressure point issues too. It's like a warm hug to my bones, but with lots of support so I feel like I've sunk into a cushioned yet firm mattress cloud! Best purchase by far!
