We purchased king mattress and ease twin xl bases. Somewhat expensive but so far so good. Still getting used to our new bed, but so far feel really comfortable and very cozy. We like it; our 2,dogs also love it. Was easy to install and easy to operate and we are sleeping cool and nice. We now could watch tv without compromising our necks.

When you lay on the mattress you get the feeling as if you were in a sound proof room. Your movements are not free raged all over the bed. It's more like your body is absorbed where you lie, and it feels like a very slow quick sand until you fall asleep. It takes like 6 to 7 months to really soften up to your sleep positions, but is still firm enough to support your back. If you have an adjustable base it will not conform as well as the softer mattresses because it is Firm. Unless, you use the new lumbar support adjustable base by TempurPedic. Although, while laying down, it flexes some; it needs body weight. I have tried several mattresses from Sleep Number, to Purple mattresses even Hybrid mattresses and Organic mattresses. Tempur pedic is the best one, especially if you have joint pain, musculoskeletal issues and fibromyalgia this is the mattress for you. Also, if you have sensitive skin it is great since it doesn't compress the skin, is dust-mite resistant and less likely to attract bedbugs. I chose a Firm mattress, because I know over time the mattresses get softer. Also, I didn't want to have to buy another mattress for a very long time. Of course you choose one to your own comfort and needs. I do recommend you go to a Tempur Pedic store first and try the different types, do your homework before you make a selection. Remember your bed is the one place you go to release, relax and rest..choose it well. Its the one investment you won't regret!

I love this mattress. I've had a Tempurpedic mattress for almost 20 years. When we bought a split king bed, I chose a soft mattress for my side after years of the medium firmness my husband likes. I prefer to sleep on my side and I'm finally waking up without a sore shoulder. I highly recommend this mattress for any side sleeper.

I love this mattress. It's the most comfortable mattress I've ever owned. Tempur-Pedic is the only brand of mattress I'll ever buy. My back and neck are so comfortable, I don't feel it when my husband turns in the bed, so I'm not waking up in the night.

I have been a Tempur- Pedic customer since 2005. I strongly believe that Tempur - Pedic has the best products in the world. The mattress is firm and gives me great support and comfort. I was having pretty severe back pain on rising in the morning. My doctor asked how old my mattress was -- errr, old! So I did some research and ended up buying a Tempur-ProAdapt Soft mattress. Have had it about a month and AM IN LOVE! I had always bought firm mattresses but this soft mattress has a LOT of support and is comfortable the minute I lie down. I have had NO back pain since getting the mattress. None! Love it!

Slept on the mattress 3 months. It's taken a bit of work to break in the mattress. I walked on it for a total of 75 minutes per my salesperson's recommendation. My back feels great most mornings. It's a little more firm than I'd like for side sleeping.

This is an amazing bed, both for the firmness and size. We purchased a King Firm and will never look back. We wanted to get this 5 years ago when my wife began experiencing severe lower back pain due to arthritis in the disc joints. However, we postponed and attempted numerous other 'back expert' options. After about 3 weeks the difference is night and day, and although she was not healed completely, her attitude towards the future is bright like I have not seen in ages. We're so grateful for this product, if you are on the fence, I recommend you go for it today!

I have a split king. I have the soft and my husband has the firm. We are sleeping 100% better! The bed conforms to your body and I now sleep with no pain from pressure points. I love that you can adjust the bed for reading or propping up your feet. Warning....its hard to get up in the morning!

The ProAdapt Hybrid is the BEST mattress i have ever slept on. I am so happy with this purchase and have already recommended it to other friends in the market for a new mattress. My body feels hugged all night long and i wake up very rested. Highly recommend this all!
