Showroom firm mattress was very comfortable. The firm mattress I recieved is almost like sleeping on a table. My 30 days are almost up and I will be exchanging it for a medium hybrid. I wish there was a longer trial period to see how long it takes to soften up because the showroom mattress felt great.

We love our new bed and only wish we'd replaced our old Tempurpedic mattress sooner. We waited too long (13 years) until we found ourselves waking up with aches and pains every morning. After the very first night on our new Pro-Adapt mattress, we awoke refreshed. There was no break-in period whatsoever (even with the "firm" we purchased), just an immediate good night's sleep followed by another and then another. We won't wait until our backs give out again before purchasing our next one. Tempurpedic is totally worth the money for us. (We even bought one for our three-year-old as his first "big boy bed.")

I bought a King size Pro Adapt CG FR in late March 2021. I love a firm mattress. We loved our mattress for 3 years. In year 4 the mattress consistency changed dramatically. It is like the mattress became ice cold and hard like steel. I paid around $4000 for this mattress, and was swayed to buy it due to the 10 year warranty. I followed the online process, which was ridiculous. Send pictures. Fill out a very brief form. No phone numbers, no human to talk to. They turned it down because they said my photos could not show a manufacture problem. Really? You mean you cannot see the change in the mattress in a photo? I appealed their decision. They said no again, because they said it was a personal preference change and not a mattress problem. This is not true, and insulting. They offered no reasonable solution to this problem. Do not rely on the warranty. They have a big name, but zero customer service. If you are expecting the mattress to last more then a few years you are going to be very disappointed.

Had a Tempur for years and recently replaced it - the new "firm" model is very hard and the tested "medium" is very squishy. Neither seem to be the middle of the road that the older models were and we are having difficulty getting used to the firmness of the mattresses we bought. Older now and perhaps have more joint aches and pains but we seldomly wake up refreshed but rather with exaggerated aches and pains. Would try the "medium" but not sure that would be better and don't want to be stuck with that should it not work better and we want to switch back again. The trial period is almost up and we are 'conflicted as to what to do with this very expensive and not so comfortable bed system. Also got a set of the most expensive sheets that were never opened and decided we do not need but the store refuses to take them as a return or exchange so we are stuck with nearly $400 in useless product!!! A decent product but one that requires very very careful evaluation before spending the money they demand. In our case we are not much pleased with the purchase and get poor responses from the retailer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had the original tempur pedic mattress from over 20 years ago and it was finally starting to feel like we were ready for a new mattress. We wanted one a bit more plush and this one seemed to be the best choice. At first, my husband thought it was too soft but we quickly got used to it and are finding it to be very comfortable! We also purchased the foundation to go along with it and all is good. I'm a fan!

I wasn't sure about how long the "break in period" would take but after two weeks of sleeping on the mattress, I began to feel the difference and sleep better and better. I thought I bought the wrong firmness but after the 4th week, I knew I made the correct choice. After sleeping on other types of memory foam mattresses for over 10 years, I am totally convinced there is nothing better than my Tempur-ProAdapt. I will never go back to those other types and brands. Thank you Tempur-Pedic for giving me "The Best" mattress I've ever owned. Know more back pains or waking up several times in the night. I can't think of one thing I don't like or am sorry I spent a little more for a Tempur-Pedic. This is a quality product!

Everyone thinks it's too hard when they first lay on it but as soon as it contours to their body they think it's the best thing ever.

This is definitely one of the best mattresses money can buy!!! My wife and I are 100% super-super satisfied with the purchase of our Tempurpedic Pro Adapt Firm California Split King mattresses. One word to sum up how we feel each and everyday we wake up "Refreshed" Oh did I already mention the part how each and every morning my wife and I hate to get up from laying in our Tempurpedic Pro Adapt Firm mattress? (lol). Yes, these mattresses are that darn comfortable! You won't want to get up from laying on it! Highly recommend going to a sleep center and checking it out for yourslef and with Tempurpedic's 90 day sleep trial how can you go wrong?! I promise-promise you won't be upset if you check this mattress out, but I know without a doubt that if you don't you will definitely be missiing out on the best (dab-nab-it) sleep you ever experienced in your entire life! Bought the pro adapt firm model and just don't love it . Too firm ... wish we would have gotten the medium one . Missed out exchange window and was told there is nothing they could do. Very disappointed since we spent so much money on it . Was hoping they would let us exchange it at least .

We have a split California king mattress with adjustable bases, medium hybrid. We absolutely love them! It took a couple weeks getting used to the change from a traditional old mattress. My husband had a lot of back pain, and snoring. This has been a life changer! He has no back pain and far less snoring! I look forward to going to bed now! So comfortable! I was leery of some of the very negative reviews, but we haven't experienced any issues! I don't believe they are hot mattresses. We sleep with a sheet and one blanket and it's perfect. I would highly recommend! My husband is a large frame guy and I am smaller, and it works for both of us! Now the next thing will be to see how long they last! But that's a separate subject down the road.
