Bought the pro adapt firm model and just don't love it . Too firm ... wish we would have gotten the medium one . Missed out exchange window and was told there is nothing they could do. Very disappointed since we spent so much money on it . Was hoping they would let us exchange it at least .

This mattress is proving to be much more comfortable than my previous one that was Extra Firm. The mattress give complete support while being much more comfortable to sleep on. I always look forward to going to bed because I know I'll be sleep comfortably every time. I've also noticed my existing bedding fits this mattress as well or better as it is slightly small length and width while being 2 inches deeper. I do need to retuck the top sheet in again every morning after I get out of bed. It is a little more challenging to make my bed as I have to push the bedding around and under the hoop at the foot. I was told I could remove the mattress outer cover and wash it but it will be at least a two or perhaps a three person job as the Mattress is heavier than my previous one and it is not ridgid so it is more difficult to handle. There are four handles attached to the bottom of the mattress outer cover, two on either side to help.

Yepper, I love the firmness of this mattress. However, my wife doesn't. We both think it is way too heavy. Making up the bed requires both of us to lift the mattress--our combined age is greater than 150. We've only been sleeping on it for a month now, way too early to say I would or would not recommend this mattress, even though such a determination is required by this review website.

This is the 3rd one I've had over many yrs. The last one lasted 10yrs and was still ok, but started to get little too soft. I like a very firm one. My first one was when I had back surgery and it "saved" my life. My back pain was excruciating, but minute I hit that bed, it was gone all night. It takes a few weeks, maybe a month or so to "break it in".. so I liked the firm one which is very firm, but after a couple weeks it settled in to my body. Now it's great. I'd strongly recommend you find a Temper-Pedic factory to try them out. They have a 90 day exchange policy, so you can use it for 90 days, and during that time you can exchange for a different one if you like. Highly recommend.

I just bought my third Tempur-Pedic mattress. My 2003 mattress is still a running strong. My 2009 mattress is still running strong. I am giving that one away. The one that I bought this time is the Pro Adapt Firm, for the pressure relieving properties. I have never woke up with pains or aches. The mattresses just get better and better every night. If you are looking for a world class mattress, you found it. Pass the rest and buy a Tempur-Pedic. Those that think that they need a firm, think again. The Tempur-Pedics should be purchased according to feel. Just buy one, knowing that they are life changing mattresses. Also forget that they are a flat mattress. What matters most is how you wake up feeling. I write very reviews. I am writing this one for those that want a mattress that will out perform an of the other mattresses on the market. The worse mattress I've ever owned. Did all the research. Read all the information. Thought I had found the perfect mattress and was willing to pay a premium for it. Reality is, I feel like I'm sleeping on concrete. Haven't had a good nights sleep since we purchased. The 90 night guarantee, read the fine print! So disappointed.

We tried all the other popular memory foam beds-in-box, but none compared to Tempurpedic. We opted for the hybrid medium firmness and sleep like babies!

I NEVER write reviews but felt compelled to in this case! I've been to the doctor numerous times in the last 2 years for neck and back pain and taken way more prescribed anti inflammatory pills than I should at 41 years old! I didn't have a clue that my old bed was crippling me until we went on vacation and I slept in a different bed! Long story short-We INVESTED in this bed and I immediately noticed a difference after the first night. I woke up with zero pain and felt more well rested than I've seriously felt in 20 years. Not gonna lie...Dropping that kind of cash on a bed seemed kind of crazy at first and I had a little bit of buyers remorse AT FIRST!!! Knowing what I know now that was just silly!! I honestly don't think I knew what a great nights sleep actually was before! Take that money you were gonna spend on that fancy vehicle accessory or whatever else you don't really need and GET THIS BED INSTEAD!!!! SO WORTH IT!!!!

As a result, my sleep quality has been greatly reduced for as long as I can remember. Since owning this mattress, my pain has been noticeably reduced. I am nowhere near as stiff as I used to be in the mornings. I fall asleep faster and stay cooler through the night as well. Excellent purchase. Would recommend. Would purchase again.

I have lost so much sleep trying to adjust to this bed as a side sleeper. It makes me feel stuck in place in the shoulder area and I have been tossing every night and waking with numbness and tingling in my hands. It feels comfortable if I lay on my stomach or back but I am a side sleeper. I thought it would help my shoulder and hip pain but it has not worked for me. It does not align my body, it makes me feel like my head is higher than my shoulders. I called after having it for a week and not sleeping and was told I had to follow the company policy and keep it for 30 days before making a return. I'm in week three now and have not had one restful night.
