I tried to save money 6 years ago and bought a level down from beauty rest. Good mattress but started sagging. I KNEW at the time it was a bad move and did it anyway. Hence, 6 years later, i bit the bullet and bought my Tempurpedic. Costly lesson, but now I sleep so comfortably! Don't make the same mistake I made... START with Tempurpedic!

I'll keep this simple, this bed is amazing. Motion transfer, ZERO. Really great when your spouse hops into bed like he's doing a cannonball. No, it doesn't sleep "hot". I'm a very hot sleeper and I stay pretty neutral all night. Also, the cool touch thing doesn't matter much once you put a mattress protector and sheets on, so keep that in mind. I've never experienced the "stuck in the mud" feeling. I'm a heavier sleeper so I was worried about this, but thankfully I can turn and get out of bed just fine. You'll have an adjustment period. I've never slept on memory foam and boy is it different. Not in a bad way, but you'll think that at first. Give it a few weeks. Pricey? Yes. But totally worth every penny. We both wake up feeling well rested and have more energy throughout the day. Sleep impacts pretty much everything you do, why not make life a little better?

We absolutely love this bed! Prior to this we had bought a "memory foam" bed on line that was suppose to be amazing (little to no reviews, no one heard of it) and what ended up happening is, it was not good enough! I would get out of bed and my whole body ached! I thought, "I guess this is what old feels like" (I'm 30 years old). My husband stands on his feet all day and would complain of back pain, again we assumed it was being over weight and getting old (he's 33). To our surprise the bed was firmer than the show model and took some getting used to, maybe 5 nights. I immediately noticed a difference when I woke up and stood up from the bed, no pain, and no aches! I feel completely young again! My husband hasn't had back pain since! He has more energy now and we could not be happier! We would recommend this type of bed for everyone! There is a reason why they are the best and we now know, we cant put a price a good sleep! I was hesitant at first, I had heard that Tempur-pedic's could be hot to sleep on, and I am a very hot sleeper. I was also concerned it may be too firm, I like fluffy clouds, ha. However, I was so pleasantly surprised the first time I laid on it, how it literally felt like it was holding me. I have trouble with my hips hurting when I sleep, and this is the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. I don't toss and turn anymore, and I don't wake up in night sweats. My husband also likes that it doesn't make noise when he gets up earlier than me in the morning, so he doesn't wake me. It is heavenly!!

It's been a month and I already love my bed. It doesn't suck me in (which I don't like in a mattress), it's not hot at all and it's just the right amount of comfy softness. Just amazing. A friend of mine laid on my bed as she's looking for a new mattress and she was floored! All around 5 stars. Thank you Tempur-Pedic for an amazing product!

I admit I had doubts it was as good as advertised, and I am so happy to say I was wrong to have those doubts! From the first night I felt the difference in my sleep and my body when I woke up. It forms perfectly where I need it to, no more waking up in the middle of the night to change positions. My husband is equally satisfied with the mattress, especially not being disturbed when I move around!

Yepper, I love the firmness of this mattress. However, my wife doesn't. We both think it is way too heavy. Making up the bed requires both of us to lift the mattress--our combined age is greater than 150. We've only been sleeping on it for a month now, way too early to say I would or would not recommend this mattress, even though such a determination is required by this review website.

I bought the Pro Adapt Medium Hybrid as a warranty replacement for my old 2007 Deluxe mattress. The Pro Adapt Medium Hybrid is MUCH better, although I think I could have gone with the regular Pro Adapt Medium. The hybrid has a slightly softer feel despite the fact it is also a medium. I thought the regular Pro Adapt medium was too firm when trying beds, but now that I've had the hybrid, maybe the regular medium would have been better. Maybe not. I'm 115 lbs, 5' 1 1/2", back sleeper with back and hip pain. I sleep pretty well on the new bed. The old Deluxe was 10" thick, which I preferred. The PA Hybrid is 12". I wish it wasn't so thick since I'm short. FYI, sitting on the edge of the hybrid is fine. I found I tended to slide off the edge of the regular Pro Adapt Medium. Another reason I went with the hybrid. Overall pleased, but with it wasn't such a thick mattress.

My wife really likes the TEMPUR-ProAdapt ... she sleeps much better, longer, and feels much more rested. For me, I wake up every hour or so, thankfully I go right back to sleep ... but the mattress feels hard, not comfy ... cannot sleep on my side as my shoulder starts to hurt almost immediately ... have to stay on my back. So, for me, it is ok, not great.
