I've purchased these gloves for years and have used them for numerous applications and protection of my hands. I also take them to Greece and give as gifts to our friends and neighbors.

The leather is soft, so you’re not fighting stiff gloves, and they’re comfortable enough to wear for a while without getting annoying. They still feel durable, especially in the palms, and hold up well for yard work or general use. They’re not made for brutal jobs, but for most jobs they work well. Getting two pairs just makes it feel like a good deal. Overall, about an 8.5/10.

I use these gloves with a long-sleeved jacket when I work with my honeybees. The sizing lets me get gloves that fit and give me better dexterity than my thicker beekeeping gloves, and the bees do not sting my hand through the leather. I do have to make sure I have elastic on my sleeves so the bees don't get to my wrists though.

Not a lot to say about Plainsman leather gloves except that they are well-known to men and women who work with their hands. What is to say is that a pack of two at Sam's beats most other stores in value. The frequent disappearance of one or more of these around our house is hard to explain. However, I've been told that I should have a meaningful discussion with Ozzy, our Australian Cattle Dog about missing leather gloves. I've been back to Sam's for replacements several times for replacements. The missing gloves are known only to Ozzy but will probably show up when the snow melts.

Work well for rope, wildland, and utility work. Bought a second pair for work around the ranch, range, and 4 wheeling.

Good leather gloves. I usually buy Lamont. These are a shade thinner, not sure if it's due to the "cabretta" leather, but about the same price and you're getting 2:1. They wear well.

I’m happy with these gloves that fit my hands and are great for stacking firewood! I usually have to wear my winter gloves which are usually too hot. But the leather gloves work great. I just wish I could only purchase one pair instead of the two.

These gloves are well made with soft but sturdy design. The seams are not at the base of the fingers- so they don't hurt your hands when you wear them a long time or grip tightly. They are not warm for winter wear, but good nonetheless.

I bought these for extras. I haven't actually used them yet. They appear to be a little thinner than my current gloves but they are also almost half the price. I expect them to work just fine. I use them for yard work and I have gotten into some poison ivy lately so I may need to throw out my current pair. I am hoping that these will be a good replacement.

My hubby loves these gloves.
