[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mattress is much thicker than my old firm Beautyrest mattress. Even though I ordered a soft, it isn't quite as soft as I'd have liked. The memory foam top lets me sink in but, I miss the bounce of the old mattress. But, the proof is in the sleeping and I don't have any of the aches and pains that my old mattress gave me. I do sleep much better on this S and F mattress, no doubt about it. I also like the handles built into this mattress, which my old one didn't have. Important note: this mattress is much thicker than my old and had to replace the old 9" foundation with a thinner 5" one, which I ordered from Stearns and Foster. The old foundation with new mattress had me way off the floor! The new foundation is better than the old one, in any case.

I always thought Stearns & Foster was just too expensive for my budget but have gone thru 3 other mattresses in the past 5 years. With the zero interest rate financing, this was not only affordable but I'm sure it will last much, much longer than my previous buys.

He said it was a great experience. He is considering purchasing one for his home. My daughter requested that I replace the old mattress. We purchased a Split King Estate mattress and have experienced almost perfect sleep each and every night. It's really great to wake up in the morning without aches or pains that we have experienced with other mattresses in the past. The level of firm support is truly exceptional.

She falls asleep on her back then rolls over on her side, but in either position, the bed is too firm. The old mattress was three years old and too soft with little support, so I thought a S&F would be great for mom. I had one years ago and loved it. I bought the Estate rather than the Studio, thinking it would be more comfortable but the mattress is not inviting. I don't know what level, firmness would be better for mom.
