I am a younger, fit guy with no back or health problems. Had an older model Tempurpedic for over a decade. Quality was great, but it was always too soft for my liking. I went to the Tempurpedic flagship store and asked for the firmest mattress on offer. I was directed to the ProAdapt Firm, and ProAdapt Luxe Firm. The former is definitely more firm than the latter. I was told that the ProAdapt Firm that I purchased would need a period of being broken in before it would feel like the floor model that I sampled. The first couple of weeks after delivery, I was certain that I had made a mistake, as the mattress was just too firm, even for someone that likes a firm bed. However, after about 4-6 weeks of sleeping on it, it has broken in considerably and become the perfect mattress. 10/10. If you like a firm mattress, this is the one. Do not even consider returning if it feels too firm at first. Give it a month or so!

I had a great experience at Jordan's furniture buying my temperpedic mattress. I purchased the soft option and should have gone a little firmer. But I made the selection, so I have to live with it. It's far superior to my old mattress. I also looked at sleep number bed, but chose temperpedic.

This review is being written by the person sleeping on this mattress...an 8 year old kid! After a long day at school or day of playing with slime (not on the bed of course) this mattress is sooooooo comfortable. I get the perfect nights rest and don't even wake up in the middle of the night. The smell went away after a couple of weeks, my mom told me that it would and it did. This is my 2nd big kid bed after my crib and it's my favorite. Before I had a latex mattress, it was a nice and all but this mattress snuggles me in puts me to sleep FAST! I think all kids should have a comfy mattress like this one, if they are able to.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been sleeping on memory foam mattresses for several years, finally decided to try a Tempur-pedic mattress. For me it's been a game changer. It's almost as if I float on top of the mattress. I don't feel any pressure points but have good support. I chose the soft option thinking if it was too soft it could be exchanged for a medium, but its perfect. I sleep well on it, feels good sleeping on back or side. I love the removable washable cover. There isn't anything I don't like about it. I'm sold on Tempurpedic comfort.

Purchased midium Matress ProadaptMD-king with base on August 18, 2021 and after 30 days it was not comfortable and the only other option they gave us was to exchange it for the Firm one and pay the difference. We had paid so much already and we hoped the firm one was going to be better but no way, it feels like sleeping on concrete so firm that it does not even conform to the adjustable base when raised and on top of that it's way too hot even with the cooling protector they sold us. It's so hot that my husband and I are starting to experience kidney pain on one side and my back pain has worsened, If I sleep in my side I feel like my ribcage gets compressed and can't find a good position at all. Paid so much for it trying to find a solution to my back pain. Have contacted Tempurpedic and pretty much indicated they can't do anything about it we stuck with this bed because we purchased through a retailer and they won't do anything about it either. We much rather sleep on our couch now. What a waste of money.

Before we purchased this mattress, I would wake up after about 3-4 hours with very sore hips. I don't have that anymore. I sleep through the entire night very comfortably. We bought the split king and really like that we can roll around and not disturb the other person.

We absolutely love this bed! Prior to this we had bought a "memory foam" bed on line that was suppose to be amazing (little to no reviews, no one heard of it) and what ended up happening is, it was not good enough! I would get out of bed and my whole body ached! I thought, "I guess this is what old feels like" (I'm 30 years old). My husband stands on his feet all day and would complain of back pain, again we assumed it was being over weight and getting old (he's 33). To our surprise the bed was firmer than the show model and took some getting used to, maybe 5 nights. I immediately noticed a difference when I woke up and stood up from the bed, no pain, and no aches! I feel completely young again! My husband hasn't had back pain since! He has more energy now and we could not be happier! We would recommend this type of bed for everyone! There is a reason why they are the best and we now know, we cant put a price a good sleep! Took a lot of time deciding on a new mattress as they are not cheap... Spend the money! Tempurpedic is a life saver for me and I will never be able to go back to a regular mattress ever. I adjusted to the difference the first week. I used to wake up through out the night with back pain and arm pain as I am a stomach sleeper and never could get comfortable on my old mattress which was a very good quality mattress as well but never could get through the night on it without waking up in pain of some sort... Thinking I am just getting old! Tempurpedic has changed my life.. Seriously. I wake up ready to go and no more aches and pains... Worth every penny!

We purchased our Tempur Adapt Medium Hybird about a month ago and it still doesn't feel like it did in the store. I have been suffering from lower back pain while sleeping for about 10 years, and after trying many other mattress, including running the gambit of online companies, we figured we would bite the bullet and pay for a top of the line mattress. I was hoping that with all the hype and great reviews, we'd get what we paid for...the best nights sleep money can buy. But I'm still experiencing the same lower back pain I had on mattresses 1/3 of the price.

My husband and I have had our new mattress for almost one month. Both of us suffer from arthritis and we have experienced no shoulder or hip pain as we did with our previous mattress. I especially like the fact that I don't feel movement when he is changing positions in bed. I am also sleeping much cooler. This mattress is worth the investment. I also purchased a pillow which has helped decrease my neck pain tremendously. Still awaiting my sheets.
