We had been putting off getting a new mattress for quite a while, thinking it probably wouldn’t make that much of a difference in our sleep quality. Sterns and Foster was always our “dream mattress” of choice. We finally stopped dreaming about it and purchased one, and wow are we happy with our new mattress!! I had major back surgery in 1999. Bolts, plates, rods… I also have 5 herniated discs in my neck. My docs have been trying for years to help me sleep better and for longer than a few hours at a time. I was down to ONE position of lying only on my right side and waking to a dead shoulder and frequent headaches and backaches. I haven’t slept flat on my back since before my back surgery and injury. I DO NOW!!! I’m taking less medication to sleep and sleeping better and longer than I have in YEARS. My son has been recommending this mattress for years and found it on sale with the white glove delivery as I can’t move it myself. This is the most amazing mattress I’ve ever slept on. My only regret is that I waited sooo long.

The Sterns and Foster Mattress I bought is my first and boy did I not know what I was missing sleeping much more comfortable and without my neck and back hurting. I picked the estate tight top medium a little weary that it might be too firm since I prefer a pillow top mattress, I was pleasantly surprised. I recommend this mattress to anyone who has back and neck problems and as for myself a side sleeper. Delivery was also white glove treatment and the two gentlemen whom took my old mattress away were very kind in and out! love it Thanks again! David Nixon

My whole life I’ve slept on an inner spring firm mattress and I love a firm mattress. As I’ve gotten older, I need to sleep more setting up than laying flat. I think you should be advised that the Well spring mattress does not accommodate the adjustable frame as well as a foam mattress. It doesn’t want to bend if you have a significant angle, which is the purpose of the frame that moves. Keep your feet up in your head up your advised when they deliver it that you should return the mattress to a flat position every morning it doesn’t do well saying in the adjusted state overtime. The springs are not designed to bend. The sheets that came with the set in the pillows were extremely nice, but when you adjust the bed because it’s or rigid than a foam, the bending where the curve is a bit pressed it makes the bottom sheets wanna pop off you really need a bottom sheet with the elastic straps that go across the width underneath the mattress to keep them from punching up after a night or two. I’m also after only a couple months starting to define that the mattress holds indentations I rotated from one side of the other and a queen I sleep in the bed alone I even sleep in the middle sometimes, but the indentation is definitely there you expect that with a foam mattress but not with a firm coil mattress that’s very disappointing. The white glove delivery was very good. I have to say overall I was expecting more for such an expensive mattress and frame.

I have had this mattress for a few weeks . I didn’t want a memory foam mattress. I wanted it to have springs, I thought that would give me a firmer mattress. It feels like my old mattress. I don’t think they would sell me a refurbished mattress. I could have paid less and probably had a better mattress. I’m stuck with this for at least 10 years .

Brand new mattress and first time I lay down on it, I noticed a divot in the middle. I thought maybe it was something that just needed me to sleep on it and it would be ok but no, it has a definite sage right down the middle. I can't trade it with place of purchase due to me already trading my first mattress due to it being to firm for this one.
