I find that it cleans a medium size load pretty decent at 3-4 cap full depending how soiled clothing is and load size like heavier load you would do 4 or to full cap full per load. It has a average foam to it when washing. The scent does linger on the clothing but smells nice. It does a great job cleaning the clothes and removing the odor too.

I personally feel I get better rest when I smell a lovely scent while falling asleep. The scent is long lasting . My pillowcase tends to get stained due to my hair oil, and this detergent did a great job fading away the stains. I noticed I used a little less of this Gain detergent to wash compared to my usual detergent.
