It leaves a good smell and cleans common stains, dirt and bad odors quite well. The texture is liquid, leaves no residue on clothing and works in both cold and hot water. If you like detergents with strong odors and that the clothes smell freshly washed for several days, this is a very good option.

Upon opening the Gain Detergent I immediately smelled it, so I knew then it was going to make my clothes smell really good. I use half a cap full for full load of laundry. I tried it on my husband jeans that had grease stains in it and nothing would take it out but this did! I am buying a few more bottles once I start getting low on this one. I highly recommend to anyone looking for laundry detergent that smells amazing and lasts a few days, this product will do that. It also cleans my clothes really well

I would have preferred to try the full size or larger size detergent as I have a family of 5. We use our laundry room quite frequently. So having this type of concentrate is important to clean all of the households clothes. This will last us probably a week maybe 4-6 loads tops. I prefer full size products so I was quite disappointed. The smell is very fresh and nice especially when they come right out of the dryer after having used this product. I cup goes a long way in the laundry machine.
