We have had several power outages in our area due to different readons, mainly vehicles hitting power poles and a few bad thunderstorms. No wanting to wait hours to get power restored, we decided to get a generator. We chose the GP8000E and we are very happy with it. We were able to hook up our entire home to it using a transfer switch. We shut our main power to the house and turned the generator on and it worked like a charm! All of our lights came on, our refrigerator and furnace did great, and we even tried our A.C. unit. We are happy with it. Next time there is a power outage in our area, we will be ready for it! This unit has more features than I expected ie: winter carb heating and an excellent variety of electrical connections that suit any purpose. I will be using it for a solar power system back-up. I have previously purchased a standby Generac (16kw) for our home and have been more than satisfied with it as well.

After returning the original purchase due to a defect, the replacement generator went together quickly and easily. I was concerned about previous reviews that talked about difficulty putting oil in and putting the wheels on, but I had no problems. You do need a funnel to add oil, but a funnel with a long neck worked fine. After the unit was assembled, I put some fuel in it and it fired right up. I also put a small load on it to ensure it was actually working. All in all, I'm happy and confident this unit will perform as expected when it is needed.

I bought 3 years ago and used it this past 3 days straight with no issues. I ran 3 refrigerators, all the lights in the house, garage door openers, electric heater, coffee pot, and toaster over. Really impressed with the power output. Plus the tank is fairly big, and last a long time once topped off. Only con is that it is really loud.

This generator performed excellent right out of the box!! Took less than 20 minutes to assemble prior to starting. Very simple instruction for assembly and operation. Came in handy when we lost power recently for 7 days!!! Believe me, we put it through the tests to see just what it would and wouldn't run and were very surprised. The only thing it wouldn't run was our drier which was no big surprise. Ran all our other 220volt items!

Got my generator yesterday, a day sooner than I expected.The delivery man was very nice and pleasant to talk to. Opened up the generator and was pleased with the look. It took a day to find time to get it running, but when we did it ran just fine. we have a Generac 5000 that doesn't have the electric start and my husband can no longer start it, that is the reason for the new one.. Thought we could hook it up to the old switch, but it is only good for 6000 watts, so must get that problem resolved. other than that, very pleased!

I just survived a devastating tornado in Chattanooga in April 2020. I actually bought this generator in 2013 for emergencies but had not used it much until now. When my areas grid was completely wiped out I rolled out the GP1500 and ran it for over 3 days to keep my house running and food frozen, Many of my neighbors lost all their food and with the Covid crisis going on that is a serious time as we are on lockdown here in Tennessee. The GP1500 powered my house and kept my family safe and fed and warm etc until power was restored. What a great product and it never flinched with the hot water heater, or HVAC etc running. All I had to do was be careful and not try to run everything all at once. Thanks Generac you saved us in 2020.

I originally purchased the GP5500 unit, but traded it in for this GP7500E. The electric start is prefect. I set up the unit in no time and I had my wife come down to start it for the first time. She simply pushed the start button and it fired up. It actually runs quieter than other generators in the neighborhood. I would derfinitely recommend this unit to anyone, and I have. You can't beat the features for the price.

Setup was easy. Starts easily. Plenty of watts for most everything in home. I ordered it during hurricane season but didn’t receive until later. It hasn’t been field tested in the real world. I did have a certified electrician install a whole house manual switch to make things easier. That was very expensive, but will be worth it. It will be easier to operate circuits using my existing breakers. I am sure the generac generator will do its job.

Just the right size with the right features and at the right price. Wired it in myself with a Reliance generator transfer switch. Bought a GenTent for wet weather use. Had to use it twice already and it worked out great. I'm very happy with my GP3600.
